People still money match him. THis year soo is money matching him his only requirement is to pick mss. Which he has picked on his own in tourney if I’m not mistaken. Also others have and do money match him at evo no stipulations. Some people do it just to get a chance to play him. Bottom line is people do money match him.
Suggestion:
Why not spread out the 5 games over the 3 days of Evo. 2 on the 1st (MvC2 & SFA2), 2 on the 2nd (ST and CvS2), and have 3rd Strike on the final day as like a big grand finale (since it is supposedly the “toss up” game). It’d give time for the hype to build, and give a chance for both players to have a break in between. I mean… best out of 7 against a high level player for big bucks and play in a tournament mentally and phsycially fatigues a person.
Again… just a suggestion.
I think it would be more exciting if every game was single match.

Truly I have been gone from SRK for too long when a match up like this is being worked up. Good shit Vic! I too, was and still am an Alex Valle fanboy. Reading about him in gaming mags all the time back home in Texas, wishing that one day I could go to tournament to play and be the victor. No local arcade, and no comp, reading about his victories is all I had growing up until I joined the Marines, got to go to places with arcades and actual tourneys I can attend (NC). Then there is Justin, the golden child, Mr. Marvelous, JWong, the king. Reading about him on the net, watching vids, then actually seeing him play in person has caught my attention of someone who not only can adapt to any situation thrown his way, but someone who has an aptitude for doing what he does best.
This is going to be one of the best match-ups in SRK/gaming history (IMO). Vic said it best, so I won’t regurgitate anything he already posted. If I had to put money on this, and most likely I will, it’ll be on my boy Justin. The force is too strong with him.
