I think her ultra might need them to be on the ground and not blocking low. If you watch the animation, the short bit before the cinematic camera angle kicks in is basically just a sweep kick, similar to Sakura’s. The instant that connects, the camera goes up and she does the rising part of the ultra, but we haven’t yet seen what happens if the sweep is blocked or whiffs. Does she do the rising part for a non-cinematic juggle? Does she keep kicking low another few more times? Does the ultra stop altogether?
Also possible that she could be able to juggle into that sweep the same way Sakura can, but we don’t know for sure yet.
She has a “cross counter” and a headstomp variation? Sweet! And contrary to what some twit said, she IS very fresh and original. She suits SF just fine. In fact, a character like this was sorely needed.
I’m going to main her unless Evil Ryu comes in, or Shin Akuma… Ono said they really listen to the fans about characters , Evil Ryu is deffenetly one of the top fav’s. I hope Juri’s moves are based on z motions and QCF/B like C.Viper. I thing I saw her ducking before doing a special or ultra, maybe she is a charge… dunno
She’s fresh and should mix with the regular cast quite well,just like Rufus,Viper,Abel and Fuerte.At this point,it feel like the new fighters have been part of the cast for years.Juri is much much better than new blood like R.Mika,Eagle,Maki or Ingrid which were both bland and boring to play.Ok,Mika was so silly that i did play with her from time to time. :shy: Juri has got everything to become a mainstay SF character since she’s got a distinct personality,fighting style and look.
I haven’t seen much request for Eagle,Mika,Maki or Ingrid. :lol:
unless T.Hawk’s ultra does pathetic damage, there’s no way Juri has low stamina based on the bids we’ve seen. It barely took off half her bar at full gauge, and her ultra II came pretty close.

Since now we get to select Ultras 3S style it will be interesting to see which Ultra of hers will be more useful for certain matchups or more useful altogether. Her 2nd Ultra is some kinda of activation ultra yes?
Don’t know if that move is QC, but I think her Ultra is, cause you see her ducking and standing all the time(typical move’s before you see a QCF, QCF + PPP (example: Ryu Ultra). IMO
