Rumors are trex, raptor, snake, cuttlefish splice. Code name diabolos. Cuttlefish splice implies camoflauge properties. I’m not sure what the snake is for? Maybe heat sensing like a pit viper to make up for trex vision problems?
They even named it Diabolos? I’ll be cheering him on as he hunts down the fools.

Not sure if its a remake or a true sequel. It almost looks as if it’s set in the near future. There is some pretty crazy tech shown such as those cryosphere.

No, if you read that spoiler-ish interview that the director was a part of that geese pants linked earlier, you’ll see that this is the same timeline but many years later after they have somehow figured out how to keep everything under control. IIRC it was 20 years, but even if I’m wrong, the trailer does say at least 10 years and that’s time that the park was open I think. But yeah, seems like for the most part they do have them under control since those Velociraptors at the end of the trailer were in unusual pens and didn’t seem to be attacking Starlord.

The reason they spliced some new dino is that things had been going smoothly at the park, so smoothly in fact that the suits wanted them to do something exciting and new, like make a new dinosaur. The idea behind that dinosaur supposedly isn’t that it’s some crazy hybrid but an imagined further evolution of existing dino species.
Whatever the reason behind the new dino just doesnt make sense. The best thing they could come up with was putting at least the dna of a raptor and trex together? I guess its go big or go home
