I really hope the Raptors make another appearance. They were my favorite part about the series - A bunch of intelligent ass niggas sneaking through the jungle on some scheming shit.

Carnosaur is cool enough to warrant being in, I’d like to see some of the freaky water Dinos as seen in Dino Crisis 2. Man those underwater segments still gives me the creep factor.
EDIT: The only issue I had with the Spinosaurus is because when it is finally revealed, it bodies a fan favorite Dino to show how much of a big dick it has. Totally kills the mood. Same thing happens in Dino Crisis 2 actually. You are hounded by a persistent T-Rex for most of the game (You do get hints about what will unfold though) and once you get to the climactic showdown with it…GIGANTOSAURUS just waltzes on in and decimates him leading to a rushed showdown with it over pipes.
A good way of establishing this is to have said new monster kill someone liked, but not with a thriving fanbase. For example take Resident Evil 3. You are introduced to the Nemesis when he tentacle violates Brad and shows how easily he can just off someone, establishing what this monster is capable of.
Now on the flip side imagine if, oh I don’t know, Capcom decided to have Nemesis job out Chris Redfield instead. The amount of salt would fill our oceans to the rim and make him a reviled character.
The issue I had was with the Spinosaur doing CQC --> Mad TV Steven Segal on the T-Rex. OK, buddy.
