I have moved the venue to the room next door. I had to cause the current room is not big enough. It is right next door and I will have a sign up for everyone so there should be no problems.
@Rice_Eater: Yeah man I have been able to concentrate on it more now that I have had the baby and I am acclimated to her.
@Birking: Not sure but I imagine it may be around 15 - 20? That would be my best guess

Alright guys, and gals. This was an awesome tourney. I hope everyone had a good time. Only big things from here. We weren’t able to do teams but we can always get to them later.
I had a total of 73 entrants. That is very nice. We are on our way of a regular 100 every month, which is attainable.
See you guys at the next one. It is in two weeks on the 10th but I am trying to get it on the 17th. I will let you guys know.

Shit, sorry bout that guys. I accidentally set it to reoccur every month so it auto put that date on there. I am still working it out with the hotel right now. They are trying to charge me a shit load of hidden charges that I am not going to pay. Shit is bullshit but the side effect is that it puts the day up in the air. I am looking at the 17th right now cause of the mess and the 10th is next week.
I am working diligently on this and will post up as soon as I get a date set. I will most likely know something on Tuesday. Sorry for the problems but they trying to screw a cracka!
**RANKING BATTLES (RanBats) FOR SSF4 AE AND MVC3
Grand Prize:
Top 4 of SSF4 AE and MvC3/UMvC3 get Hotel for FinalRound (FR) 2012 paid for. If you have been before then you know that you do spend a lot of time in your room practicing and hanging out with friends.
Top 2 of each game get venue and entry (of game they got top 2 in) Fee paid. Total of 4 people.
*hotel would be from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. (Thursday night pending on rates) and it will be a suite, the best they have and we can afford. Also, top player from the RanBat will get to share a bed if they want it.
Timeline:
Between now and March. Looks like 20 weeks or so depending on holidays and such.
Entry:
$5 or $10. We need to figure this out. Post what you think below. I am leaning towards $5 cause it is more affordable but $10 will give us a chance for EVO 2012 instead of 2013.
Ranking Battle Points:
For RanBats points as follows:
1st = 10pts. 2nd = 9pts. 3rd = 8pts. 4th = 7pts. 5th = 6pts.
6th = 5pts. 7th = 4pts. 8th= 3pts. 9th = 2pts. 10th = 1pt.
So top 10 of each RanBat earns points!
For ReSe Tournaments points are as follows:
Just being in the tournament earns you 5pts.
1st = 5pts. 2nd = 4pts. 3rd = 3pts 4th = 2pts. 5th = 1pts.
Only top 5 in each game at ReSe tourney get awarded points
We will do Tekken and MK if we have enough people for them but will have to re-think the prize distro a little but not much.
You don’t have to show up for every RanBat but the more you do the more points you get.
You can enter more than one game for experience and if you get top 2 then we will pay your way into the tournament for that game too but your hotel room for the second game would be given to the next person, ONLY if you have won a room already.
I will be running AE and Brian (schixo) will be running Marvel.
If we do $10 for ranbats then the money left over from FR will continue into the EVO 2012 Ranbats. If we only do $5 then it will be for EVO 2013 and ranbats will be a year long RanBat.
I will calculate the money needed to go and how many will be able to go. I will talk more about EVO ranbats after I see that FR ranbats are a success.
The mission for these ranbats is to level up and bring Charlotte together. By the time we go to FR we will have the exp needed to handle ourselves in a tournament environment. We will help each other grow and make Charlotte the place to be for competition.
These will be held on Wednesday nights at my house at 7:30pm. I have emptied out my garage and have room for 25 people and noise isn’t a problem ;). It is AC controlled and the door can be opened up for fresh air. I will need help with a setup or two but that won’t be a problem.
Ranbats will start on Wednesday Sept 14th and go until we have enough for FR Grand Prize. When we reach the amount needed the rest of the money will start over and be put aside for EVO 2012/13 (EVO 2012 depends on how much we spend for ranbats)

Hey guys wanted to give you an update for ReSe.
I am getting the run around from the hotel. they are trying to charge me an extra 150 for some bullshit. I am dealing with it and will have an answer tomorrow. the date has been the victim here. I don’t know if it will be the 10th or 17th but it will def happen. Like I said I will know tomorrow.
Thanks for your patience guys. Is there anyone here with a preference for the 10th or 17th?
I prefer the 17th only because I put in a vacation day for the 18th(I work Sundays). So it’d be nice to attend the tournament and come home without the dread of having to work the next day.
As for the ranbat, good luck with that. Sorry, but I won’t be able to attend that but I hope it turns out well.
I prefer the 10th as my wife will be out of town on the 17th, making it difficult for me to attend that day. Whichever works out best for you.
