MLG Raleigh ehhh. MLG was a good event to go to, but I’m still not convinced that they’ll do MK justice. I mean, we saw what happened to Tekken 6 and Smash Bros Brawl (expecting trolls from this) as soon as they’re introduced to the 2010 season. I really hate to see MK suffer the same fate, due to MLG just wanting money, as well as being WAY to focused on FPS to be considered Major League “Gaming”. Seriously, they need to change that title if they’re just going to focus on Halo, CoD, and Starcraft. Anyways, we can’t force you to choose one way or the other, it’s your time/money, spend it the way you want to. All I’ll say is, just remember the crap they did with T6 and hope it won’t be the same for MK.
This may be a noob question, but how does a dual tourney work exactly?
I guess games are ran on both systems so you may be playing SSF4 on 360 and then on a PS3 but that’s just the way I read into it. Never been to one myself.
If it’s like last time I went, both players choose which system they want to play on. If neither can come to an agreement, they flip a coin and pick one that way. I’ll have two dual modded sticks with me and wouldn’t have an issue lending one out when needed.
Yah, Jaguar, it should be along those lines with Dual systems. That way, we don’t have to hear the complaints that it’s only one system.
Exactly right guys. I empleminted the use of both systems so people would be able to play on what they were comfortable. Sometimes you have people that only use a pad on ps3, while the other guy plays 360, well he can use someone’s stick and have no excuse to why anyone won or lost 
I leave it up to the players to make the decision. I have been doing this from the start and it has been a huge success. With TE’s being the standard today it is real easy for people to play on what ever. Of course if it becomes a problem then I will get rid of it for sure but like I said it has run real smooth and I think people have been happy with it.
For those of you that are new to ReSe I wanted to let you know that I also make sure to have all lagless setups at each tourney. I purchased some monitors myself (and will be buying 3-4 more) to make sure we have Lagless HD setups
AliceChan: It will 3SO that we will be using. It will be on both systems, however I believe that PS3 will be the main.
Thanks for the info. Being an MK player that strictly plays on a pad, trying to use a 360 pad, when I’m a PS3 user, would be a challenge to say the least. And trying to use a stick would be an even greater challenge. Guess I’ll look into a converter, just in case.
We have several people that play on PS3 pads so they usually get their way. Most people that play on a stick can borrow a stick and use it on either system. Also, most people that use 360 pad can play on ps3 pad so it works out well. Have no worries, I wouldn’t worry about a converter if you play on a ps3 pad.
Cool beans. This will be the first tournament I’m planning to attend. Hope I don’t make a fool of myself, especially with the stream.

is 3S still going to be a minor? if so ill try to since i cant o to summer wars for family issues and stuff. will it be on a console or a Cabinet if console, is it OE?
It will be a minor and 3OE, most likely on ps3 but I do both systems.
