I’m under the assumption that this tournament is meant to promote the venue’s business. Am I correct in believing this, or are those 25$ going elsewhere?

My guess is 25$ to the venue, who in turns provide the cash prize in hopes they receive a profit from the tournament attendance. If this is incorrect, please provide further info on the distribution of the money, so attendees can feel at ease.
