even though I have no plans to play him/like him, it’s really odd that you can’t supercancel or puttsun cancel Cars’ M teleport (the scoop low). it’s like… why is that even there…?
I dig light mode and unblockables, but he feels for lack of a better term “incomplete.”
Ultimate Lifeform is obviously fun as hell though.
I wish they sped up the teleport moves so that it was like a legit fast 50/50 off of his 214A if they get blasted far enough. I wish I could help design/do QA for this game~
But lol, I agree. I was really weirded out that you couldn’t Puttsun the teleport low slash. Kars, at least to me, after a lot of play doesn’t feel as much incomplete, more just really really basic lol. Is it just me or is his j.C like the best I’ve seen so far? Maybe I’m crazy but it feels like it has more priority then other air normals I’ve seen.
And yeah, UltiKars is crazy fun I just wish I could be more consistent with it. Unlike Stairway To Heaven or Gold Experience Requiem, UltiKars doesn’t really feel like an “instant win” transformation, I kinda wish the transformation sequence was shorter for him. I love flying around and Rippling fools, but I can never seem to pull it off unless I land a good 214C and get it at the right angle to blast em back fullscreen.
Well, you do get UltiCars the entire time, and he has probably the best way to set up the transformation, and he does do a buttload of damage, so I guess that’s to balance out the investment compared to the single round MiH and timer GER.
I just wish he could ripple breath with S during it.
I kinda forgot it lasted until the match was over, mostly because I’ve never landed it outside of training lol. But yeah that’s true that is a fair trade off for what you get when you’re transformed.
Was there a stealth patch or something? People on Gamefaqs have been saying that Campaign recharger… thingy is already in motion and I swear they tightened up the super jumping inputs. I used to always accidentily super jump as PB Dio day 1, now in training and matches I’m in full control. Or maybe I’ve just gotten less sloppy? I dunno.
Divekick is obv a more serious and competitive game then this one, it deserves it!
Also I really dislike hoping you get an alt costume for a character that you want from the campaign mode bosses. The 5min limit helps alot, but it’s still boring to just sit there and wait.
Lol, Kei was all over Taimanin in the GF, it was pretty crazy. Is there any way to punish Dio’s super jump cancel? I’m guessing you could interrupt the cancel with a jab (though you could risk eating a full Rekka if he commits to it, probably more likely to if he has meter to Puttsun), or use a full rangequick super to punish it if he goes backwards? Or is the blockstun from Rekka quite large?
As for AAing, guess you could run underneath their jump-ins and attack if the spacing allows it (strictly in terms of AAing, not for wake-up). But more importantly, air-to-air conversions for AAing/ jump wake-ups should help out, Alioune and Neville have already been working on it in their videos ([details=Spoiler]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smGuCt3kVvk[/details] and [details=Spoiler]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3N4Doyylp0[/details]). People’ll develop tighter oki as well (already happening). Nice Giorno stuff Tatsu.

if the person does it right, you can’t get out of it. after a certain point you have to puttsun cancel and then dash in, but it builds enough meter to let you do it indefinitely. or at least until they die.
I honestly hope they keep it in and just reduce the damage, meter gained, and pushback for less reps, and less time on the ground. it’s kinda cool seeing combos like that in various hit types (OTGs…etc.) I don’t think I’ve ever seen shigechii players ever use defense mode so maybe make that better too.
He looks like a one-trick pony that will descend to shit the moment you remove that infinite. Cause it seems like players rely way too much on that move.
I’ve never run into anyone doing the infinite online yet, tho it seems that most of them(except like jolyne or the guy who bounces you like a basketball) can only do it when you’re near a wall.
So it might not be that big of an issue yet, but it still is a bit ridiculous. Though we are getting a patch in 3days.
