Yeah, I guess I didn’t really think of that. I’d say it’s a matter of who you think would be a better anchor for you personally. What if you put Doom on anchor (x-factor 3 doom is scary) with Hidden Missiles assist helping you zone and keep away with Chris and allowing Dante to mix up and also provide defensive protection? Keep Jam Session?

Is chris highly reliant on assists to his zoning? I think my assists isn’t really good

and do i have any assist options that i can use to connect his first hyper from a low shot otg

Assists help START his zoning, but once you get a few grenades out you can handle yourself on the ground quite well. And I think from that list, it’ll be possible to connect the grenade launcher from… trish? Peekaboo assist maybe.

Peekaboo assist used later in a combo results in an immediate tech, but that can be used for resets. Peekaboo is a great zoning tool for Chris though, but like most of his grenades, it’s weak against teleports.

Just need your opinion on stuff:

Chris/Doom(Missiles)/Dante(Weasel) or Chris/Dante(Jam)/Sent(Drones)

I can do the grenade launcher hyper from any of these two teams, but which of them just has better synergy?

Personally, I would think the second. Drones, man, it’s the best goddamn assist ever.

Yeah, I agree. I just feel more comfortable with Doom and Dante than Sent, but then again my sent has given me results, albeit being pretty basic lol.

I’m trying out Chris Taskmaster Strider. This actually might be a time to use tasky’s angled or overhead arrows. What y’all think?

Chris guns can help Dante chip and keep safe block strings. (Dante does air guns and Chris shoots. DANTE ends string with weasel shot Chris should be able to give him enough time to use Hysteric then xx DT and you’re in).

Dante would be better with Jam Session. Chris needs them out the air unless he wants an airthrow. If they block jam you still get to lob a fire nade or a mine.

Been running Chris/Frank and since Chris can get frank to level 4 with just franks own assist i want to know who some good anchors are to help frank in the event that chris dies. Havent played much Frank but does anyone’s assist help him level as well as help out chris a lot??

A lock down assist? dante’s Jam Session would be great with Chris to protect the air. Ammy helps everyone too. Doom’s plasma beam Dronez.

I am considering Dormammu for my Chris team. it would be Chris Dorm Strider. what assist would be best for Chris from Dorm? I like chip damage.

Edit: gonna actually use Chris Dante Strider. Fits my style better.

I’ve moved to Chris Dante Strider. will also consider Chris Dormammu Strider. Like forcing chip with Dante and Dorm, being able to freely plant landmines and fire nades and go into flame thrower. When I get pushed back from flame thrower I cancel immediately to landmine and I’m pretty much still in control to do whatever the hell I want. Which is to be a jerk and keep chipping via f+m xx Fire nade or another flame thrower if they get stupid and step forward.

Seriously. Flamethrower xx landmine is hilarious.

I suppose you can also otg with chris and shopping cart them away and then use a gun / setup a grenade. great to see a Chris player look to setup chip

That’s what I usually do. My team is Chris Dante Strider and my whole purpose in life is set up and force Chip damage. everytime they’re in the air and eat a Jam Session thats a fire grenade or a land mine. if they were moderately close then its a Flame Thrower that gets canceled to a mine when they push block it.

if I score a Vajra it’s far m xx shotgun or a grenade. if its the end of a combo and I have no meter is OTG+ dante and while they block dante I lob a fire grenade and then its time for Flamethrower to land mine.

I may not land a combo at any time but I’ll be sure to pump out the chip and not care. As far as I’m concerned if the game is proceeding slowly then I am in control and thats just the way I like it. You will suck on this . You will suck it. I need SUCK IT

Chip damage Chris is the manliest Chris for sure.

A link to my Level 5 Frank combo using Chris. Probably nothing amazing but it gets the job done.
