Alright. Tournament time next Saturday! This is invitation only but I’m very open to suggestions, as I don’t have 8 people off the top of my head I know available and willing to participate. So far I’ve got:

1. SilphDK, dat ibuki player
2. Vulcan Hades, the one and only Yoshi
3. FullAutoDeath, EWGF’s hurt
4. RedVega, Some dude
5. Lexity, Some guy

Unconfirmed but people I would like to see: WestAB, Killinator, Knuckledust, Dane, King D, raf

  • 2/3 sets, 3/5 grand finals.
  • I haven’t decided if single elim or double elim and feedback would be much appreciated. Leaning more towards single elim simply for time.
  • No assist gems. Boost gems are cool
  • Preferably east coast players for this, but if you have a shit hot connection I don’t care.
  • Not yet open to EU players. Hopefully I can run one later down the road strictly for you guys <3

The winner gets 8.95$ paypal from me personally and an interview on Skype! I realize that 8.95$ isn’t big ballin but that’s the point – it’s an online tournament and the seriousness of play can only be taken to a certain level. I’m more interested in the learning experience for the players.

Today i will be streaming myself learning Akuma. Silph thinks hes a bad character looooooool I think he’s potentially better than ryu. Stay tuned. Ill begin streaming this process around 4 pm est.

Akuma is good in here he still has alright footsies and his zoning is the best by far of anyone else in the game and his dmg is high too

I have no idea where the idea that Akuma is a bad character came from. The more I play with him, and against him for that matter, the more I think he’s secret top-tier. Even without the vortex of old he’s still a nightmare, especially when he’s got speed gems boosting his wicked-fast jumps.
