Hey, I’m trying to learn fighting games, and when are you going to do another stream?
Definitely need some training assistance JiB! I’ve been playing since SF2, using Octagonal gates. Never got into the Tourney scene until recently.
Using a Square gate now, and somewhat used to it, but my game needs mad work.
I’m messing with Raven, Julia, Nina, King, Kazuya, Juri & Hwaorang. Akuma is my main, but Guy will be once released.
I also intend to play Bryan & Cody.
I’m still learning this system as well as AE, but I’ve been working on SF X T lately.
I know I need to cull my character pool, and I am working on doing so. Any suggestions would be great.
I don’t rage quit, I take my beatings with aplomb, as this is the only way to learn.

It kinda depends. Best way to know when he’s streaming, I’d recommend making an account on Twitch TV and subscribe to his channel. You’ll get an email once the stream is online. Also fun to chat in the meantime too!

I appreciate Jib letting me join these lobbies when available regardless of my suckiness. He still gives me the chance to learn and get better with the other folks.

I was doing his more difficult trials last night and he is viciously deceptive. Obviously he has a learning curve, as he is different than the characters I am accustomed to using.
My qualm is that Guy, Cody, Bryan and Dudley are out soon, and I know I am going to be using Guy & Bryan, perhaps adding Lei to this roster.
Maybe JIBbo should give me a lesson on choosing characters! LMAO. Too many awesome possible teams. That’s one of the reasons I really like this game. Variety.

Team Korea is indeed strong. As for limiting characters, you’ll need to discover which characters go the best with the other ones and which have less synergy. I love Bob for instance, but I recently dropped him for people like Sagat and Hwoarang because they are better team players with my characters.
Now all the characters you listed are considered universally strong except for King so you cannot go wrong (and as a King mainer myself I consider him underrated and cannot go wrong there either).

Sorry I haven’t been as active about my stream as of late. Life stuff and such.
Speaking of which, starting Friday I won’t be streaming for about a month as I’ll be out of town due to work. I’ll still be around the forums but I won’t have my computer with me or anything. Sorrrryyyyyyyy

Kind of sucks since it seemed like the people who really liked the game were starting to rally around your stream and connect with others.

Though I can’t stream right now I’m still cookin up a few things:
- I’m having some more artwork done right now for the stream design which I will be revealing at certain number of follows. I’m paying out of my pocket for it so expect dope stuff.
- I’ve got SFxT to run on my laptop good enough for training mode so I can still lab monster it up. I’m stuck playing on my keyboard right now but I have purchased the black and white Qanba stick with PS3/360/PC which will be sent to my current location.
- Working on recovering my passport so I can go to the Capcom Tournament in Paris. I’m sponsored by KaraStorm Gaming now, so it’s easier for me to do this sort of thing now
- Vulcan Hades has recently inspired me to do something cool. ^________^
- I’m writing up team building guide, ranking characters 1-5 on how well of a point character/anchor I believe they are. Example:
Abel** 2 - 4**
- Struggles zoning in, takes time
- Strong in close. Benefits from partner launch.
- Becomes more effective with meter but not extremely reliant (ex-tackle whiff punishes = huge damage, ex-TT invincible)
** - Step Kick > Dash is not + on block but with ex-TT (meter) invincible it’s viable.**
** - Lacking reliable AA. Ex-air throw (meter) low forward (has to be spaced well). A2A Fierce**
- Has good light button chains which can lead into easy hit confirm launch or reset
** - AC has pros and cons**

Just a quick note on Abel: c.MK is actually a great AA. The spacing requirement is pretty lenient, as long as they’re in front of you, and not coming down directly on your head or crossup.
