Jet Set Radio 1 releasing in September @ $9.99

Grace and Glory is okay. On the other hand it has taken 81 posts for this to make to the thread:

The real crime.

The shit you miss out on by not owning a DC as a child. Def copping this.

It’s really too bad that JSRF didn’t have the tagging system of part 1. I really missed that but I loved the hell out of Zero Beat and all the challenges and such.

Ah the memories…

They CANNOT fuck with this soundtrack. Crazy Taxi, whatever. I like Bad Religion and all, but it wasn’t like the WHOLE GAME suffered with different music. This game with a different soundtrack would be unacceptable.

p.s. they can leave out the US onry tracks. Didn’t it have like Rob Zombie or some shit in it? LOL

p.p.s. ROCK THAT SHIT HOMIE!

Never got a chance to experience this game…only it’s music after discovering Naganuma. I am quite interested.

Just downloaded both the game’s soundtracks in celebration of the news… of to work I go… minus the jet skates :frowning:

Bout fucking time. Been waiting for a chance to play this game.

I would love to see Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue series hit XBLA/PSN (with sequels to follow of course), but JSR would probably be the one I wanted most on XBLA. It just seems perfect for the service.

Man, all this talk of old Dreamcast classics is just hitting me with nostalgia as powerful as a sledge-hammer. I still remember that euphoria playing the shit out of all these great games, back when everything Sega touched seemed to be gold.

Oh shit, Jet Set Radio on the comfy PS3 control rather than the blister-birthing DC one?

Fuck yes.

Also, Jet Grind Radio sounds wonky as shit. Jet Set Radio flows nice and smooth.

agreed.

Watching JSR vids reminded me of how much fun I had playing the game…I recall mimicking Noise Tanks’ intro scene when I play Benton Cho.
Always tagging the Captain when I saw him…
The races…probably my favorite part of the game.

I wonder if Sega will retain user made tags.

now if only we could get fighters megamix. come on, sega.

True. A hd double pack would be amazing, im sure that would sell well.

Yes the Noise Tanks had some Pretty Slick moves. I wanted to dress up like Tab after playing this game.

I remember hearing debates that JGR wasn’t the first so I was hesitant to say it but, doing some research you are correct. The Japanese release was the first and people were confused because the NA release came after a couple of emerging cell shading titles.

Interesting EDIT:

Someone was to be tripping, same day really? Now I am confused…

Hmm gamefaqs puts Wacky Racers on the 26th while putting Jet Set on the 29th. Guess I was right to hold my tongue but Jet Set/Grind still destroys Wacky Racers free.
