You’re an idiot…pointing out shit that he misses like you’re even 1/1000th as good as him. Lol plz indeed…
PS. pyro isn’t even on kuroda’s level…no foreigner is on top-tier Jap level, and just because some have gotten close doesn’t mean jack.
PPS. The rest of the world will never be close to Jap level because you can’t breed great players in areas with no comp. FFA is like the only spot with good 3S players, and Japan has more skill in a random city block. Nuff said
good shit… i never doubted your post for a sec  i wonder if he’ll actually refuse to record matches…its scary to think you can be that good…i mean we’ve all seen Daigo, we’ve all seen K.O, we’ve all seen Nuki and they are phenomenal players but this guy seems like he’ll blow them out of the water with his skill…i hope someone can post a few vids from the DVD:wonder:
I can totally believe that Kuroda had those streaks  And the guy is a dick. I hate him. Being the chosen one to finally end that streak of his that night added a few inches to my private.
Recap of what happened: I spotted Kuroda and asked a translator to ask him if he would mind doing a little video interview. I mentioned that he had many fans around the world who would appreciate a few words from him. First he gave me a dirty look, then just said no and turned away. The translator himself just told me “He’s just like that…”
Then he started playing. He picked Hugo and just beasted. Me, Prince (Ken + Urien player), Raju and C4 (Chun) were joined by some Japanese players in trying to take him off. I guess the only things I can remember from his games against the others was how his defence was perfect - and any attempt to dash in was usually punished with 360’s and 720’s.
For my games, I just couldn’t believe that my Akuma was getting handled by a Hugo. Anyone watching those matches would think that akuma stood no chance against Hugo. After a few losses, the games turned into his Hugo rushing me down.
Air fireballs were countered with jumping jabs. Demon flips the same. Teleports countered with dash then EX clothesline. When I finally decided to go for early jump attacks - he would somehow know what I decided and started using shootdown backbreakers. I closed down his 360s on my dashes with the f+mp gimmick. That gave me some leverage to dash in. However dash throws never worked - always teched. Dash f+mp didn’t last long as he started red parrying the second hit…
Eventually I realized that dash demons were the one thing he wasn’t countering. So as someone mentioned earlier, that final game between us was just me landing a raging demon (easy) then running away and building bar again (VERY hard). When I finally won, I went round to his side, stood in a victory pose and just shouted “YES!!”. The Japanese players watching started clapping as soon as I won, but after my little ‘taunt’ they all started laughing.
However I really want to watch those DVDs now. Any chance that the owner of those DVDs will burn/send me a copy for a price? I can believe that Kuroda is the best in Japan - whenever I TRIED talking to any of the Jap players (I cant speak any Japanese) the only message they got across to me when I tried asking about “strong player? good player? best player? Umehara?” was “Aaaah - Kuroda… berry berry strong…” I remember TM and Ruu were shaking their heads after saying that.
maybe he just meant his favorite… in anycase it’s still fairly impressive to see someone with such mastery of many faces in the 3rd strike cast instead of just sticking to yun/chun/ken which i think are all very weak anyway. haha
MOV was really nice whenever we chatted to him. Made a few silly faces when we took pictures with him and always gave me nudges when I landed demons at Mikado arcade
First thing first, don’t want to deny Kuroda’s ability…
But…
If I haven’t been to Game-Sakura before seeing those stats I would be wow and WOW with those win streaks!
It must be noted that, not many ‘Godly’ players hang around Game-Sakura. I believe there some sort of hatred among those big guns. So those stats only be true within Game-Sakura environment, but not in Japan as a whole.
One example is that, ppl stop seeing Nuki on KSK Ranbats automatically thinks that he has retired… however, the truth is… he didn’t retired but started hanging Game-Sakura for what ever problem he had with some KSK player(s)…
Those DVDs are legit, and up for sale at Game-Sakura for as little as 100 or 200 Yen. You wouldn’t able to find any links to those DVDs as there is a disclaimer that “no videos should be distributed on the internet”.
You only can get them on site or get thru friends via postage.
