You just really have to know where to go and on what day to go now. Arcades aren’t what they used to be anymore because consoles are taking over, and there aren’t as many players nowadays.
For VF I know that I can only really play that on Thursdays and Saturdays at the arcade I go to, because everyone goes to my arcade on those days but they gather at other arcades on other days to take advantage of special deals (2 credits for 100 yen, etc.)
It’s all about getting the info and following the crowd now, but most super top players keep that info secret from everyone else since they want to just play with their friends, and not random nobodies.

I’m a mostly anime fighter that’s been in and our of Japan for a long time now, but I’ve been living up in Sapporo for the last year. I just picked up P4U and am looking for people to play with online(or if someone actually lives up here I’m down for casuals). I played GG for years with Elvenshadow when I lived down south, but I’ve kind of been on vacation from fg’s for the last bit and looting to get back into them with Persona.

How to I register a name to my AE arcade card? I bought the mobile site up on my Japanese phone (s.sf4.jp) and navigated to the obvious serial number entry page, but I don’t think it’s accepting the number (red error message).
I picked up P4A but am currently out of the country. Once I get back though I will be very interested in playing casuals.

I’m still looking for Hotels to stay in for 3 people total. Only few I seen that seem decent are in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku. Anyone suggest a certain district to stay at?
Looking to do touristy things like museums, shrines, and shopping. Ghibli museum and Tsukiji fish market are ones I looked at seem pretty cool. Also must-go places for fighting gamers or gamers in general like specific arcades or shops. I know Akihabara is the gaming/electronic/anime place. Spending budget (not including hotel) is around 3-4k per person, but its pretty flexible. Any help would be appreciated.
Is anyone here going to TGS? I plan on going, and to be honest if anyone’s doing housing, that would be baller as fuck. Also IParryU, what’s your Battle.net account? I’m pretty hardcore into SC2 and I’d love to get some 2’s in if you were down man.

To be honest, it depends on how I’m feeling. 1v1 I usually play Zerg, 2v2 I usually play Protoss. I’m equally good with either of them though and like I said, just depends how I feel. Its usually a toss up to whether I feel like going stalkers/colossus, backdooring with DT’s, rushing with zerglings/banelings, or backdooring with mutalisks. My 2’s partner is strictly Terran though. In 3’s and 4’s I just go random to add some spice to it lol.
Also if you guys have PSN, you should add me, Cable_AHVB, I’m mainly playing VF5 and P4A right now, but Tekken 6 is my best game, I’m also decent at AE2012, you guys should hit me, I’d love to get some games in, since we can’t play offline. If anyone’s going to TGS though I’d love to meet up and hang out.
I am trying to learn zerg too. I am just practicing all my basic builds and getting my timings down.
I got the timing for a 3 gate robo down, but my midgame timing is off still. A few more weeks and I will have everything that I feel that is off all fixed up.
