Hey SCOTT play yet another sport.
Translation:
“Let’s try our might against the living mandingo over.” MMA got mad Japanese folks on some ol’, “Here comes a new challenger” shit! I’ll come and watch y’all but I tends only to be fit to wrassle women in my old age.
BTW Genjiro’s foot is fucked yo’! He almost fell down between the Train and the platform on the JR line last week while looking at some broads! But he managed to Focus Attack the Lameness at the last minute! He’s gonna need to get his balance back first before he steps anywhere.
I read the directions to get to Game Inn Sakura, on Versus City but still couldn’t find it. I even found a small sign that said “Game Inn Sakura 2F” on one building, but when i went to the second floor there was nothing there.
My memory’s kinda fuzzy, but the directions on the first page are straight. I think it’s above a video game store? Anyhoo, I think you had to go up the stairs and the entrance is on the right side. Once you get in you gotta walk down another small hallway and there it is. It’s really small, so don’t look for like a Club Sega type setup.
I’m probably off slightly but if you can get to the building where Game Inn Sakura is you’re pretty much good.
Hey guys, I’m leaving for Japan tomorrow. First week is Tokyo and second is Kyoto, but after that I’m going to be in the middle of Nagano-ken for about two and a half months. Last time I went there was absolutely no comp in the only arcade in town, but I can hop a bus to Nagoya pretty cheap (~2700 yen I think). Does anyone know where the Nagoya hotspots are, especially for GG and BB? This Game Sky place seems like it’s pretty poppin and gets some top players, but I don’t see anything on their blog but 3S, Melty and some IV. Has anyone been there?
I don’t play shooters but I am down for SFIV this weekend. Whereabouts do you live. Tokyo is kinda big. I live in kunitachi (close to Kokubunji/Tachikawa) 40 minutes west of Shinjuku from the Chuo.
Maybe Forgenshiro will be hobbling about this weekend too.
Yo. I’m pretty slammed this weekend, but if you’re down for some SFIV @ either around Nakano station or at the Taito station at Shinjuku South exit, hit me up. I could do Nakano this Sunday and then the Shinjuku Taito place any weekday around 9/10 (I work near there).
I am also not that hot in IV, but I’m willing to get wailed on lol.
I’m going to be in japan from Aug. 14 to Aug. 30. I’m hoping that I can attend SBO even though I’ll just barely make it. I have questions regarding:
Where the hell is SBO even held?
I haven’t booked a hotel yet, any advice? (traveling by myself hoping to save money where I can)
Gonna try to make it out to arcades on weekends, but on weekdays I want to explore the city. Any advice on what to go see and what to avoid? Think typical geeky japanophile attractions.
Hey, I’m going to Tokyo, Japan this August (haven’t really booked yet because I’m going with 2 other guys and they need to inform me when they exactly can go, but it’s deffo in August). We’re planning on staying in a hotel in the middle of Akihabara, is this a good spot if we want to see various kinds of things of Tokyo? I know Tokyo itself is big but there are definitely places that are a must-see; so would this be the most convenient spot?
To me, one of the most important things are good arcades (with good comp and maybe even to play a few of you guys) that have 3S and SFIV, but next to that I also want to visit a lot of shops that sell multimedia stuff, games etc. And food isn’t really a big problem because I almost like everything that is Japanese
I’m also planning on going to SBO if it’s possible. @ZenFire: SBO is gonna be held at JCB Hall, it’s a new location because there were a lot of peepz who wanted to attend last SBO, but the previous location wasn’t big enough; and because of the new games (SFIV, T6, etc.) it’s gonna be held at a new location which is the JCB Hall.
