last gig i have until late april. i’m about to be a resident dj for a new dnb night at air in daikanyama. that’ll kick off april 23rd (god thursday night gigs kill me, glad i’m taking leave). one after that is 5/5 at loop in aoyama. i think i’m the featured dj of the night. not sure, that’d be awesome though.

Hey folks. First time posting in this thread. I’ve been living in Osaka for 4 years but it’s finally time to move up to the big city. I need some advice about where to live though…
Basically I want to do two things:
- Commute by bike to my job in Shinjuku, and
- Live near Akihabara
So I’m thinking that Sumida-ku is going to be my best bet. Originally I thought Chiyoda but apparently rent is really high there. Anybody got any ideas for cheap places that might satisfy both of those conditions?

i would say that if you want to move close to akihabara, then expect to pay some money.
first a couple of Qs:
1: how much are you expecting to pay
2: guest house, apartment, furnished/unfurnished
3: do you have a j-friend (same sex) that can go do the talking so you dont get turned down (this happens to many people)
4: do you care how old the building is?
5: are you a female
6: do you live with your spouse/kid(s)
based on them questions i can give a better answer.
but in general i would say meguro 2 or 3 cyoume
