Goddammit…fat people ruin everything potentially cool about cosplay. It started with that guy cosplaying optimus Prime…but he more closely resembled a basketball crammed into a cereal box. It only went downhill from there.

I still remember at one con a friend of mine was at, some bitch was acting all… bitchty and cosply as Yuna from FF 10. Thing was, she was fat.
So to get back at her, my friend came up to her and said, “Hey, isn’t Yuna supposed to be skinny?” and never saw her again.

The Colonel made the movie for me. Funny thing is I don’t think he was as evil as the greedy guy. The Colonel had no conscience, the greedy guy you could tell in his expression that he knew what he was doing was immoral but he continued because of money.
I’d personally rate the movie and 8 or 9 out of 10. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would then again I went in thinking it would be garbage.

I wouldn’t…3 put my ass to sleep in the movie theater. That’s NEVER happened in all my life. This movie kept me riveted. I still can’t get over how tall the Na’vi are…like 10 feet, right?
10 feet of lean blue ass kicking power. James made a lot of smart choices design wise (like fighting to keep their tails) with, well, everything.
Am I the only one who was in awe when the shuttle was slowly flying through the floating mountains? Like the cg guys were able to really give that thing weight.

Aye, that was amazing. I mean you could tell it was CG (Opening scenes reminded me of Squeenix’s movie CG :lol:), but the money shot was when they were about to gun down the great tree, and you got the full sense of how massive it was. I mean, at the opening you saw how big that dropship was, then you see that compared to the helis, and then those are like specks compared to that tree.
And the last fight scene was gold. I would’ve payed full price for my IMAX seat just to see that 3 times over, and call it a day.

You mean Michelle Rodriguez’s character in a surprisingly charming role? I was sad. It was the first time I ever liked her in anything she’s been. She wasn’t typed cast like she normal is as the bad ass almost a dyke but not quite (but probably is in real life) secondary character. Now she’s lovable bad ass.
Exactly. I thought she was great. One of my favorite characters in the movie. I’ve never liked her in anything else either but I really liked her here. Was sad to see her go up like a roman candle.
