It doesn’t help that the director himself clearly has little faith in this movie being worth a damn. Which is why he was Front-loading Excuses for it earlier with that press statement. That told me everything i needed to know about this movie. So once it starts flopping in theaters, they can immediately jump to the misogyny excuses.

Ghostbusters flopped because it was bad. This movie will probably be just fine but underwhelming. The only thing this film has in common with Ghostbusters is people being triggered by the female leads. The Terminator franchise hasn’t had a great movie since two, Dark Fate is par for the course.

Well now that all the leaks are out, and the cat’s out of the bag… Rejoice! The ‘wokeness’ of Hollywood continues!

Dark Fate is an All-Female, soft-reboot of the “Terminator but, not really Terminator anymore” Terminator series. And as expected of all-female reboots, all the villians are men. yay!

Edit: In it’s feeble defense, it is going about the all-female reboot horseshit in a smarter and more respectful way than something like Ghostbusters 2016 did. As it’s in continuity with T2 and acknowledging what came before, nor does it make the mistake of invalidating the events of T2 as they finally succeeded. It’s not trying to erase it and rewrite the history with Whaman outright.

Oh, and R.I.P Skynet! It had a great run.

Nothing important, ever.

I don’t mean that as a dig but his whole existance was “you’ll be important, some day.” But those days never come so he’s never done anything that actually matters. With this movie going off the end of T2, the real hero and protagonist of these movies has been Sarah, not John.

I’m just sayin.
