Arnold is sent back as “Pops” in this one to raise Sarah from a young age. So he trains her to be a wrecking machine.
That premise reminds me of Old Man Logan and I am actually pretty excited to see it.

Not impressed, the trailer hasn’t convinced me that they’ve made any good casting choices. They are trying to wipe T3 from ever existing, why couldn’t they just grow a pair and do a straight reboot? The throwbacks just annoy me.

It’s a different timeline than T2 and T3.
In this timeline, a T-800 is sent to orphan Sarah at age 9. Then the “young” T-800 is one sent by Skynet and they mess him up.
Since she has the training and a T-800 on her side already.
Seems like Kyle will be useless until Pops gets destroyed by Azn-T-1000

From a philosophical standpoint, the mere act of traveling back in time changes things already. Considering that they’ve sent things back 3 times, we can expect some incongruity to arise. No matter how much of a clusterfuck it is, I’m watching this. I’ll be a forever whore for things with Termiantor, Predator and Alien in its title. :lol:

edit: trailer looks pretty good. Looks like terminators from the future get sent en masse to the past, hopefully this convinces humanity to just destroy electricity or some shit. CGI on the T-1000 looks oddly pretty shitty, but seems like they will use him better.
