I still don’t understand why T2: Judgment Day still has more convincing special effects than in all the sequels, considering how much computer graphics and modeling have improved. In T2, the T-1000 actually looked as if it was literally in the scene. It had the same gradated hues to match the cinematography; and wasn’t some unnaturally glowing, metallic object, with a randomly placed post-production light source like the garbage-looking T-X was. Same goes for that freaking Gumby-ass T-800 in Genisys.
Keep in mind T2 came out in 1991, a time where 16 bit graphics were called “jaw-dropping”.
Hopefully Robert Patrick will be in it to be a good T1000 against the bad Korean T1000
