Song is so good.
The Skyfall intro sequence has to be the sickest Bond intro so far.

Yea she was pretty hot for the 10min she was in the movie, idk if you guys want to make believe this is a good movie or what but it was definitely ass. I’m happy i got in the movie for free, cause if i paid i would’ve been highly upset. Tbh all the movies lately are no good, any movie buff or someone with common sense will tell you that.
I’m more knowledgeable about movies than the average person, I have decent common sense, and I disagree with you. Boom. Assertion: debunked.
Haven’t seen it yet, but I heard it wasn’t that good. Some say even Quantum was better, and Quantum was so ass.
Going from Casino Royale to Quantum is like Capcom going from Charlie… to Remy.
Yeah, Quantum was better, and Sovi3t is the smartest poster on SRK.
I heard that the Empire Strikes Back is the worst in the original Star Wars trilogy.
To be fair, the person I heard it from is an idiot.
A good movie. I’m in the agreement that Casino Royale was better overall, but it’s not that big of a deal.
When Skyfalls…
I liked the fact that was a more personal intimate take to Bond’s story and relationships. Javier Barden has mastered crazed psychopathy to tee. His nuances were very entertaining. The intro and song was dope, still like Casino Royale’s a bit more though visually. Adele’s song is tops.
My only minor gripes was that although Silva was entertaining, he never seemed truly threatening as a nemesis. If they showed him employ more skills than tactical cyber-espionage I would’ve been more impressed.
I also wanted to see some acknowledgment of the Quantum in the film. They still exist and are a looming threat, I thought that a reference would’ve at least given the world some scope.
Other than that, it was an engaging ride from beginning to end.
I called Moneypenny from the start and the foreshadowing with the British bulldog figurine, still hilarious though. Oh and
black women have top tier arm definition lol. Moneypenny was a cutie.
My favorite scene in the entire movie was the first 10 seconds, spectacular cinematography. After that part, I was already sold.
Movie was ok, but it has absolutely no replay value. I can’t see myself sitting through it all for a second time. That being said, I still think Casino Royale is Daniel Craig’s best Bond film to date.
I’ll definitely see this again before the end of its theatrical run. As good as Casino Royale was, I think it is enriched by this film–which is what QoS should have done but didn’t. Skyfall is a commitment to the promises CR made of a less formula-driven, more Flemingish Bond.
As for Skyfall not following up on the Quantum organization, it didn’t bother me. Goldfinger gave us a break from SPECTER.
I wouldn’t say it’s on par with Casino Royale, I wish this movie was a 2 parter Skyfall being the part 2, it just seems liked we’ve missed so much between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall
Pretty good, classic Bond nods while keeping it in the modern age.
Skyfall
Silva kind of reminds me of Christopther Walken’s bad guy in View to a Kill. Former/rogue agent, bad blonde hair, and a love for throwing fire bombs. Fortunately, he’s in a much better movie.
I know they mentioned the new enemy is in the shadows and hinted it was small terrorist groups and mercenaries, but I wonder if they can still introduce a large criminal organization in the next movie. Yeah, they could probably bring back Quantum. I kinda doubt that Silva could have done all that hacking and planning on his own.
Exactly, especially considering how many parallels with Goldfinger they made in Skyfall.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that Quantum was absolutely necessary to enrich the film. I’m just intrigued to know more about them, so I was awaiting for even the briefest glimmer of information. Oh well, in another 4 years maybe…
I loved this movie.
I loved this villain.
I loved the girl they picked
Also I love the girl they picked. She is so fine it’s retarded.
Also loved the intro.
Best bond song, best intro, best villan. Bond was a person this time, a tired, jaded, person, but still with feelings. Silva was perfect. they should not have killed him off and brought him back for the last two craig bond films.
Refer to post #22 :china:
Assuming the shit doesn’t hit the fan with MGM again, I don’t think it’ll be that long.
Saw the movie made me the raging hard to not have it in my hands as blu nice intro very cool actions scenes…best bond movie? YES!
I’m not sure I’d call it the best Bond movie, but it’s definitely in the top tier. After the Brosnan era, people could have been forgiven for assuming that the high standard of quality of the early movies was long gone and that new Bond movies were destined to be a routine regurgitation of the formula from here until oblivion. I’m glad that isn’t the case, though I know there are a lot of fans who are disappointed that the more recent movies are trying things that break with tradition.
I’m not sure which is on top now, Skyfall’s intro or MGS3’s.
