Overhead is garbage, cossacks are mildly useful. Outside of setups, cossacks seems to almost never work. The Smash is very hard to land and otherwise the damage is very low.
Does anyone else use his kara (if you can call it that) throw? Not a lot of added range but it does keep those point blank throws from missing on the rare occasion your throwing someone with jack.
Please leave Jack alone for version 2013… I’m afraid they’re gonna nerf him to hell.

Dunno I still dont think hes that great. Yeah some great players were using him at the anniversary tornamnet and doing well but I have the feeling that if this game was played as much as marvel or SF4 and people were godlike at it he would be meh. Hes not ass tho.Was worng about that.Hes good for some countepicks and what not but as a main that you play every time… not too sure about that.
Just imagine hes suprise attack zoning whit a awesome AA normal like Blarog c.H , a Air to Air like hondas neutral jump HP or Blarogs jump back HP. Now that would have made him great.
Shit can still get over hes DP and its harder to react sometimes.

All i can think of is if someone is doing a full screen taunt lol.
Mp mp is great for full screen zoning some times for variety, like against gief. It beats lariat and also catches jumps some times. Also it isn’t easily AC’d, which some players use to get in.

I’ve been maining JackX since the DLC dropped and I’ve had great success. Yeah he has a deadzone above his head but he controls the entire space outside of that. If you couldn’t cross up JackX he would be completely untouchable.
I really don’t see why he needs an AA normal when his DP is one of the most amazing AA’s in the game. Also his j.LP/LK and j.MP are solid air-to-airs…
JackX with Balrog c.HP and Honda j.HP= the most broken character in existence.
I wanna use Jack X for sure since it seems like zoning is going to be pretty strong in this game once more people put it together+I hear people have a lot of trouble fighting him any way. Might as well figure this shit out now.
I’m thinking between pairing him up with Kazuya or Juri. Who would be better to pair with as far as adding damage and is it usually better to have Jack point or anchor? I could probably just change up depending on who is point. Juri seems like she’s still going to be strong footsies and spacing wise even after all of the changes plus she looks really fun to play since no more Viper.

I still think JACK will be a strong character come the update, it’s just that you’ll have to be smarter with the way you play. Especially with Seismo being much easier to block. That said, I’d recommend JACK/Kazuya. Simply put, if you play strong with JACK and manage to land a tag in, it’s curtains with EWGF.
I play a good bit of Juri/Jack but I’m sure that Kaz/Jack is a stronger team.
Making his Seismo high was the dumbest thing ever. It kept people grounded and out of his face. Prepare to get jumped on even more now.
So what if people jump, everyone already jumps all over Jack, just DP the shit out of them or meet them in the air with j.MP or j.LP.
