J.Wong vs Daigo

thanks bro

Can’t deny that Justin along with most of the crowd was definitely upset with the lost.

In Japanese language, Ryu isn’t pronounced “Rai-yew” or “Ree-yew.” It’s pronounced similar to view.

An amazing match, one of the most epic that I have ever seen. I was seriously like that announcer, just straight freaking out man. If I didn’t watch it at 12 at night I probably woulda been yelling at the top of my lungs lol

It’s been three days since the match and My head is still swimming in information. I’m going to say that the daigo vs Justin thing will never be settled in the eyes of fans and followers because it is our right as fans to believe that if things had just gone a certain way, or if so and so didn’t happen the way it did, then we could easily be looking at an alternate reality. Truth is, we’re not, and when it boils down to it, i feel that there’s one factor that determined the outcome of the match more than any other…hunger (insert fat joke here).

Daigo paricipated in money matches prior to the event, and did a great job. What his participation showed us (besides how much bank can be made) is his willingness to participate, contribute and learn from the community. You know people wanted to play him, and he, despite coming from half way around the world, agreed.

Justin…slept. He came from half way across the country and slept when his rival was playing. He could have watched and observed to see if daigo had developed any new techniques, and he could have played the other folks with his bAlrog to sharpen his skills, but he slept. It’s been reported that he and Sanford don’t see eye to due to justin’s ‘selfishness’ when it comes to sharing with the community and if there were any truth to that statement, it was evident with justin’s lack of participation. Yeah, they weren’t allowed to fight eachother but there’s so much that could have learned and taught that night. When the best 2 players are around other top tier players, the knowledge must be astounding…but one of them didn’t participate.

Yore saying he didn’t want to show his balrog because the surprise would be ruined? At that level of competition, if you’re banking on a surprise or trick to win, you’ve already lost.

In the end, justin is a master of the game, but daigo is a student, scholar and excellent ambassdor for the community, which is why he took home the victory.

I’m glad Daigo won. Justin knows a ton about Street Fighter, but he has a lot to learn about life. Justin is a professional, he needs to act like one. Daigo is a professional alos, but the difference is that he acts like one. Winning is nothing new to Daigo, it’s an expected happy result of the time and effort he put into the game. Justin acted like he has never won a match in Street Fighter ever…which is absolutely false as we all know. Justin is a great player, he has a long way to go before he becomes a great person.

yeah, i like how Daigo play other people too. Justin probably studied alot of Daigo’s matches and developed a plan against Daigo.

like i said in the other thread only some of you ass hat 09 members think like this.

its a damn shame lol

And once again, it shows that Daigo is the most consistent in winning. Nerves of steel, nerves of steel as shown in the fight against Wong.

The top players in JP might come to US and dominate the top 16, but I don’t doubt that Daigo will reign in top 2.
The double elimination matches make it much harder for players to get random’ed out.

I think if Justin starts to control his emotion better, he’ll also perform much more consistently - problem is, he doesn’t have too many comp in the EC near his level where he is forced to do this (Sabin or Sanford probably are the closest to him in skill level).

It’ll be great if these top level EC guys can do a monthly meet with the top level guys in WC to improve their skills continously but there’s no one to sponsor such an expensive training.

Sigh, damn Japan with their continuous top level training in the arcades. :arazz:

Well if not being from 09 mean’s that extremely poor sportsmanship is acceptable, then I’m glad I’m an “09’er”.

Hi asshole this is me logging in from my 2004 account. I use my 2009 account so that I can weed out troll scrubs like you.

Justin claims to be a professional Street Fighter player, I’m saying he needs to act like one. His antics, his shit talking, his behavior in general rubs certain people the wrong way. Fact is he could not back it up this year. He didn’t even win MVC2 this year. If you are going to talk smack prepare for the backlash if you fail.

Why is it ok for him to make excuses when he loses? Why is it ok for him to talk mad shit about how he is the best in the world? He talked so much about how he was going to beat Daigo and he failed.

I respect his ability as a Street Fighter player, I don’t respect him as a man or a person.

Daigo is a professional Street Fighter player he does act like one. He accepts victory and defeat with the same attitude.

Nice try calling me an 09er. You are an elitist prick. God Damn Ass Hat 05 er!!!

The internets just got serious.

Its against TOS to have more than 1 account.

Bann him someone.

Oh and Hold Dat would destroy your scrub ass.

It’s ironic, you come off as a bigger douchebag than the people you’re “criticizing”, lol.

It seems like the fans are the only people who take it seriously, idk.

Then close one of my accounts, as you can see I never used my original account. I forgot I had one. If that calls for a ban then ban me. I never posted here anyway because of all the BS that goes on here.

Great, now you’re a 2004 member, but that still doesn’t give you the right to make judgements about someone just from a few youtube vids. I think that’s what’s annoying people the most. Watching some videos doesn’t give you the right to paint Justin as the bad guy and Daigo as the good guy. You’re not looking at either guy’s character in real life, you’re looking at them in moment of extreme pressure with a lot of pride and money on the line. You might as well be looking at Haley’s Comet through a kaleidoscope. Would you be acting normally under those circumstances? I sure as hell wouldn’t. YJDK

as if it matters

Wow look at the Justin fanboys! I bet they all swallow too.

Every time I see you post anywhere I lose a little faith in humanity.
