J.Wong vs Daigo

At whom? Both wong and daigo were getting tagged with anti-airs but at the same time, they were both landing huge combos off of jump ins.

I’d have to say that Japan has better Guiles than America does. ie, Fujisawa.

how much $ did Daigo win?

Has he matched against Fuson’s guile?

I would love to see that match, although sometimes the guile mirror can get tedious, depending on the players.

Just utterly amazing! I loved how Justin came back and forced another set. I think he celebrated too early and made him look like an ass. Diago just stayed quite looking at the moniter waiting patiently. Justin really surprised me with his Boxer pick, his boxer was amazing. It just shows the level of adapting that Diago has. Its unmatch by anyone in the fighting community.

laughs at facepalm

Man I got nothing agaiinst Justin.

He’s the best player in the US hands down.

But Daigo was bullshitting in some of those matches.

Especially in the last set where he was playing like Poongko, doing a million FA’s**

Great, I already see the number of Boxers online doubling…sucks for me since I already had troubles against him in the first place.

Good stuff Justin, can’t remember being that hyped up about a match. Every hit that connected had me practically spazzing.

 maybe things have changes, but doesn’t “not as popular in japan” still mean more actual high level players than in the US.

btw how does everyone else play rufus vs Zangief the only time I really remember seeing that match was the last time I saw Justin play it and he played it just like against ed ma. Gief can’t really get near rufus, until the commentary on the feed I though that was the common belief on that matchup.

The Balrog vs Ryu correlation between Justin and Daigo was too good. :looney:

Matches were incredibly enjoyable; both players pulled off a great show.

Thanks!Great to hear from the beast. Gotta love his humility cough justin needs to be potty trainedcough

^^^^ Agreed!

The best SF4 match I’ve ever seen so far! VGG to both players!

“when i get people coming to me asking for autographs/pictures, then i know that im in america”

great match to watch.

the one thing that stuck out to me that made me think Daigo did not know that matchup very well is how many times he kept jumping at Wong while they were both just standing there.

balrogs cr.fp is a pretty reliable AA move.

WTF is up with Justin celebrating like that after wining a round. I mean come on, whats next? You’re gonna run around after connecting a Ultra without ending the round? Justin really needs to rethink how he approaches these types of matches, stop acting like you are matching someone on XBL. This is the world’s best, show respect for yourself and the country you are representing. Im American but his antics made me cheer for Diago.

Justin really needs to drop the taunting and showboating. Watching that you’d think he had a commanding lead and was going to coast to victory…but he was down 2-1 and he just won a round.

It’s like back when I played football and people would talk sh1t when they’re losing 21-7:confused:

Ed Ma really is an incredible Akuma player, but I don’t know, for some reason it doesn’t look like Akuma comes naturally to him like when he played with Ken.

Actually he did know the match up, watch the post fight interview. He has match vs very good japanese boxer players but he was amazed at the level of Justin’s boxer.

Anyone know the prize pool for sf4?

The hype was crazy. I really wanted Justin to win though. Honestly, I wanted to see Sanford’s Cammy vs Justin Rufus lol.

I don’t think it was against Daigo. It might have been more to psyche himself up and gain confidence. He’s said in many interviews that he has much respect for Daigo.

Quoted for truth. Lets not forget he choose a boxer in Vegas. I loved every minute of it.
