I was messing around with it a bit, and it looks like it should work. When you do Cold Shower and get the two shots, Trish just shoots em and they stay in place for a second, but after that it does the Level 2 Stinger like it would if you hadn’t called her.
I want to post a dante combo video to contribute what I’ve been working on in the lab, but does anyone know what I need to record my gameplay to my laptop. (yeah, I am a noob with technology)
Ask/look in the tech forums. You’ll need at least a capture card, and if you want a lagless capture you’ll need a wire splitter so your monitor/tv doesn’t lag behind.

I was doing this and was wondering, is it possible to add a j.S during Drones before doing Skydance for a little extra damage?

I would try two things:
jS land Sky Dance
Volcano xx jump then Sky Dance (since it looks to high for a TKed Sky Dance)
IIRC, Hammer might work but there’s also a better chance of you knocking them straight down whereas jS usually wont if there’ still getting hit.

You can bold cancel pretty much any grounded normal. Prop shredder and any of his gunshot command normals cannot be bold canceled (weasel shot, scat shot, upshots/clay pigeon.) S (launcher) cannot be bc’d on block, maybe on hit but I don’t know why you’d want to anyway.
Bold cancel > block is mad retarded, abuse the fuck out of it.

The only move that you can bold cancel but not special cancel is stinger. Otherwise it’s just another special move. But every Dante combo on a grounded opponent ends the first magic series with stinger because it’s the only reliable way to combo to volcano xx jump j.h xx air play falling j.h land s. Magic series to launcher often whiffs, so the stinger bold cancelled volcano is pretty much mandatory if you want actual damage.
If you were asking “what can you cancel bold move into,” I’m pretty sure it’s any special or hyper besides bold move. However, the only ones people really do are reverb shock (cancel to fireworks as a poke), volcano/jet stream in corner combos, and teleport in midscreen combos or assist+crossup shenanigans. Bold move cancelling is just a roundabout way to give his stinger the ability to special cancel. Super jump cancelling is just a roundabout way to give his launchers special cancels.
The result of a couple hours with my new Dante team, maybe it’ll inspire some new shit.

I wished i picked dante up in mvc3 as i suck at the bold cancel…
Does the rest of the cold shower stuff not work after all that due to HSD? And does the basic cold shower > prop shredder > hammer starter cause too much Damage scaling to be worth it? Just trying to figure out why you didn’t do it, and if maybe I should be finding ways around it.
