This combo doesn’t work. f,d,f+M doesn’t combo after stinger (f+h)

Hey Nini sorry to keep bugging you about that same Dante BnB vid, but in the second combo (corner combo) how do I consistently get Acid Rain to hit? A lot of the time, I’m pushed too far out by the 44 M, S -> Prop Shredder and the Acid Rain shots end up missing the opponent on the way up.

Just wanted to point out one thing: If you call Vergil in devil trigger to do Rising Sun assist (yeah, ofc i know its crap), Dante can get 4 acid rain loops. :slight_smile: Not really practical, cuz it’s situational, but it’s awesome for combo videos.

-Also, has anyone found any 700k+ dante tripple jump midscreen combos? Yeah, i do know that his BNB does 700+k, but i want a good triple jump combo that works anywhere. Thanks.

trying to look for a consistent bnb more damaging bnb, atm my combo does 650k, I have good execution so that isn’t a problem I just wish I was creative enough to find combos myself. Any help is appreciated :slight_smile:

He should be getting 700k off any standing ground vs ground bnb. What combo are you using?

Wow dude, thanks! This made BC’ing so much easier o_O like an infinite amount since I always do -> HxxS anyways, but actually did the SRK motion anyways instead of doing an hadouken motion. I could BC already before but this feels so much smoother lol

This is your problem right here, if near a corner you should be doing Cold Shower xx Stinger BC Hammer then Volcano xx Beehive. Also you didnt use a ground bounce in that combo. If not in a corner, you should BC Teleport after the Stinger. A big part of Dante is knowing how close you are to the corner.

For the second part, are you talking about when Dante is on the ground vs an airborne opponent or when both you and the opponent are in the air

Actually both situations, I just start making stuff up and hope it hits whenever I hit someone with st.MHS, when I hit air to air I do MHxx236L but don’t have a solid follow up.

Also Im curious, should all of my combos get me at least 700k or is it just for regular ground to ground? Sorry for being such noob, just trying to understand this game. Thanks

No problem and as far as I know, all his ground vs ground combos should be netting you 700k.

I havent experimented with air juggle combos so Im not sure. I checked the guide as well and it doesnt have anything for comboing after an air hit in the combo section.

So, given H&H help, who’s makin’ the combo with every one of his specials in it?

I know the J.:h:, J.:qcf::m:, J.:h:, s.:s: part has been around forever but I could never get it down consistently because the opponent would always be too far away after the j.H for the S to connect. Is there a trick to this?

You want to delay the second J.:h: until you’re almost on the ground, also in Ultimate holding forward until you hit the ground after Airplay helps.

So far from what I’ve found the most damaging Midscreen Solo Combo I can do without using Acid Rain is:
M, H, Stinger, Bold Cancel, Volcano, j.H, Air Play, j.H, s.H, s.S, s.H(2 hits), Air Trick, Hammer, Beehive, Half Dash back s.S, s.H (2 hits), Stinger Lvl 2, Bold Cancel, Air Trick, Hammer, Beehive, Million Dollars = about 717,200k
works on most of the cast besides small chars has to be adjusted for them by either ground dashing after the falling H or doing an airdash after Air Play

Solo Corner Combo
M, H, Stinger, Bold Cancel, Volcano, j.H, Air Play, j.H, s.H, s.S, j.H, Killer Bee, Half Dash back s.S, s.H (2 hits), Stinger Lvl 2, Bold Cancel, Hammer. Beehive, Million Dollars = about 750,200k
This works on everyone I believe so far.

how exactly does " backdash :s: ~ :f: + :h: " work?

when i try to throw a stinger after S i just get the guns, is it a timing issue ?

As far as my knowledge goes, the only way to get stinger after a launcher is to link it after Clay Pigeon. So, after you shoot them, then try to Stinger.
