Notes : Im pretty certain that you’d be able to do an extra thunderbolt if you use flight mode after the second one to eliminate the air move limit, but i wasnt able to pull it off quick enough to catch them with sky dance afterwards.

Some of the guide combos are good starting places for people who want to learn advanced combos instead of doing “America’s Favorite Dante combo”. There are also elements you can take from them to add to your own BnBs to increase damage. Example:

This combo uses an idea from one of the guide combos where after Prop Shredder midscreen, you do a single Acid Rain and then juggle with Million Carats. The combo in the guide says to follow this with another Million Carats into Reverb Shock, Fireworks, Million Dollars to finish the combo, but as you can see here, I did a nice cut-and-paste from the advanced BnBs mentioned here to add damage. The combo above does over 800k if started off of j.:h:, most likely from an Air Trick.

Another thing is that the basic guide combos, while lower in damage, are extremely reliable. Something to keep in mind if you’re still stumbling over the advanced stuff in training mode.

I don’t mind if you put it up, I’m planning for that to be my midscreen BnB once I have it down and figure out all the characters it will work on. Acid Rain midscreen is finicky.

Just screwing around in training mode trying to see how many of each special I could cram into a single combo and came up with a silly little combo off of Dante’s corner Teleport>Instant/Delayed Hammer mixup that looks pretty cool so I thought I’d share just for the sake of variation. My girlfriend kept referring to it as the MC Hammer combo. :lol:

Damage: 552,900 or 821,700
Meter Gain: 1.25~
Meter Required: 1 or 3

Opponent in the corner: Teleport, :qcf:+:l::qcf:+:l:, :df:+:h::h::h:~:s:, :d::d::u:+:s:, :qcf:+:l::qcf:+:l:,:df:+:h::h::h:~:f:+:h:xx:atk:+:s:, :qcf:+:l::qcf:+:l:, :df:+:h::h::h: + Haggar Pipe Assist, :u:~:qcf:+:l::qcf:+:l:, :dp:+:m::dp:+:m:xx:qcf:+:atk::atk: or :dp:+:atk::atk:

Damage isn’t great, but if you DHC to Hagger’s Rapid Fire Fist instead of doing DMD, you can combo off of it and obviously you then have them in the corner with Hagger, which is right where he likes to keep his opponents.

Nah, do whatever. Giving combos names according to the player isn’t really important to me, cuz once tournament results crop up, everyone’s gonna forget who came up with the combo.

I poasted this just before the last combo thread got deleted. I just figured it out after learning to bold cancel and instant teleport off prop shredder. Good damage, fun to watch. I’ve got a DT combo but no time to post it now

Huh…so all that for just 10k more. Meh, it doesn’t matter since the other combo does like 770k so this is obsolete. But I gues it helped me improve on some Dante things

this may be the noobiest question ever, but i just started playing a week ago and i suck.

so the question is…how do you teleport out of the “bold” move that bounces them off the wall?

To teleport after a bold cancel your inputs should be :f:+:h:xx:d::s:+:atk:xx:d::s:

Err … care to explain how the :h: > :qcb::m: (Revolver) from the 3. Shine3rection Combo works?

The Revolver has too much startup to combo.

Edit: Nvm, didn’t see the level 3 XF bit.

I find this kind of awkward. Personally, I input: :f::h: > :s::atk: ~ :d::d::s:

@puff: Yea, it isn’t a practical combo, I just think it looks cool. xP If you plan on landing it in a match you’d be better off using the one that starts off of Revolver. A lot of the time if the opponent super jumps, and they can’t see Dante below em you can throw out Revolver and catch their toes.

@Dr. Grammar: Doing the down twice motion fast is just a pain for me. Probably because when I first started doing it I was buffering the first down via the bold cancel, but yea both ways work it’s just preference.

I know I couldn’t have been the one to discover this. So, why doesn’t anyone use this combo? Execution wise it’s pretty easy as far as bold canceling combos go and it does 714k. I think it’d be more reliable in a match than most other combos, but that’s just my opinion.

Has anyone found a dante combo that does 730-750k with 1 bar and no xfactor?

Whats the most damaging combo to do after teleport or bold cancel hammer this is to start combo since it beats a lot of things and surprises ppl most of the time.I try to do the volcano into bnb but they air recover after prop shredder. My current bnb is 3 loops of isdellica combo den stinger bold cancel hammer volcano beehive super.

we all know that the mission combos are lets say OK.
but how about some more complex combos or even infinite combos
i want to learn DANTE that badly cause he is my fav. char. of all capcom chars. there is.
so i got my team set up now DANTE/WOLVERINE/AKUMA yes no SENTINEL a miracle has happend^^
