Thats the thing with Dante, his approach is not like tri-jumpers (aka RTSD), he’s more like about using his massive range to hit the opp, kinda like Zero . Of course if you have a low hitting assist you can call it and then teleport to create an unblockable. Whats your team btw, maybe I could give you a better idea how to get in if I know which other chars are u playing.

ok, first of all, there’s and edit post button, so please try to use it. Not trying to sound like an asshole, but thats how things work here.
on your team:
ok, good team, if Dante is your anchor then chances are you wont use assists. Let me suggest this order:
Wolverine on point, then dante, then akuma. Akuma is a fantastic anchor, dante isnt that great to be honest in that position. You can also try starting with dante then wolv, because they have a 100% combo with the DHC trick. when Dante is on point, try using (be careful though) akuma’s assist as a shield because it has nice priority and advances quite a lot (almost half screen IIRC) and if it hits, you can get an air combo with Dante, and once you get more exp with him, you’ll see that you can turn that into a big damage combo, just for calling akuma (at the right time).
you can also use his missiles and then teleporting to their backs to catch them sleeping, but never, never, EVER, do teleport by itself if you dont have an assist or a proyectile to cover you, its easy punishable. oh yeah, you can also use akuma’s assist and then teleporting for a good mixup too. And finally, dont use slash for wolverine, use barrage, slash isnt that good as an assist.
what do u think about switching out wolverine for zero?? not for nothing but i spend alot of time with dante…i use basic bnb with akuma…im alright with wolverine…i just thought that zero would be a better character all around…zero has good assist and hes a good rushdown as well
lolll fun combo in corner with dante. this is actually the best damage off j.S if you have 2 good assists, otherwise stick with charge shot loop for practical high dmg, although not as high.

it depends on you. wolverine and zero are both good for Dante. IMO Id go with Zero, but wolverine/akuma is a REALLY strong combination as well.
I think I found the solution for Dante to Task/Wesker as far as corner DHC trick reliability is concerned for any of yall who roll with these guys… its actually quite simple. LOL full bnb with task, and no waste of an otg with wesker.

air raid = vortex(623S) im assuming?
volcano doesn’t bring the opponent that high, after the vortex, you can do all those moves in the air without them dropping…this sounds like a ridiculous combo! for that twister, i guess you are landing after the prior airplay.
I also have Wesker/Mag on my team so this combo sounds perfect to learn. For your ender, after legs, do you hit A1 then stinger or simultaneous input of A1 and H? Is there supposed to be a BC after that stinger to allow the next j.S?
air raid is flight, and i confused twister for vortex lol.
i press magneto disruptor+stinger+BC at the same time right after beehive (legs). if you’re going into this from dhc glitch, omit the last airplay
I’ve been trying to do smexymills j.S combo for ages and i’ve never been able to do air play to j.H to H no matter what. I can do it off of M H Stinger Bold Cancel Volcano just fine, but off of j.S it seems absolutely impossible. I decided to try and find an easier alternative and i found one that does 718k damage with one meter. Only problem is that it uses Sky Dance and the last hit needs to whiff which can be a little random, but i get it to whiff most of the time now. Here it is.

Edit: Bah, it seems someone already came up with it. I found it on youtube. They ended it with 3HHH to reverb shock and did about 10k less damage but it’s about the same thing.
just do basic charge shot combo for j.S. 730k~ and consistent
j.S>volcano>immediate j.H>immediate airplay>delay>j.H>st.H>5s>j.H>killer bee>walk back a little>5s when they’re about to touch the ground>10 shots>reverb shock>million dollars
the alternative version is to backdash after killer bee and then do 5s>10 shots, this allows you to get fireworks but the million dollars won’t hit as much, and for many chars it is very hard to get 5s in range to get another 10 shot loop. either way, 1 loop this way is still 730k~ dmg or so.
you can do up to 3 reps of 5s>10 shots on some chars, 2 is usually consistent though. the main execution barrier is memorizing character weight - IE akuma falls really fast compared to ryu, and off a basic charge shot loop with ender omitted, he won’t air tech while ryu will
This is a pretty cool video, someone utilizing Dante’s projectiles, which is never done(from what I can tell).
