I’ve been experimenting w/ some DT combos lately. One of my enders after 2 Vortex j.:qcf::s: is flight (:qcb::s:) OTG Thunder Bolt (:qcf::s:)x4. Any of you guys know if I can follow this up with anything else?
Interesting note (if you didn’t know) with Thunder Bolt is that w/ normal jump, it can be used 3 times. During flight mode, it can be used 4 times. With xf lvl 3, it can be used up to 8-9 times.

uhh well im probably not the best person to teach you but i can do it…so you would do j.:s:> :df::h::h::h:>:f:+:h:(stinger) xx :atk::s: then air trick…but what i do is as stinger is going forward i go :d::atk::s:+:d::atk::s: as fast as i can…it works most of the time

That’s a bit inaccurate, because you are ignoring the 3 special move per jump limit. Activating flight (Air Raid) counts as a special move, so you can do two Thunderbolts, then Air Raid, then up to 4 more Thunderbolts, for a maximum of 6 Thunderbolts in one jump.
XF3 is a weird exception
you can do
TB x2>flight>TB x6 or so>flight runs out>TB x3

You can definately squeeze plenty more damage out of this since I use my bounce extremely early in the combo and only do 2 acid rain loops, but this is the variant I’ve found most reliable and comfortable for me.
Have you actually tried this? The first two TB + Flight already counts as the limit, the only reason you can do more is because you have unlimited specials during flight. So once flight runs out, you shouldn’t be able to get the additional three. I can understand lvl 3 XF allowing you to do more during flight due to the increased speed, but you shouldn’t be able to do any more after flight runs out.
Edit: Just tested it and yep, 8 is the max in XF3. Two before activating and up to six after.
If you just take that killer bee out, after beehive, you can add stinger, bc, jet stream, fireworks, then million dollars at the end. Execution wise, only if you screw up the bc into jet stream, its still fairly easy.
I think DT’s usage as a damage adder isn’t that great. It’s probably more for taking the opponent to the corner easily with vortex while keeping your ground bounces. Either that or just healing up while you do a really long combo to recover red life.
He already addressed the early Killer Bee in his original post - he said he uses the combo this way because he’s comfortable with the execution.
I do agree with your assessment of Devil Trigger though. I assume it is being used here to cancel Million Carats early enough to continue the combo, but I wouldn’t recommend using that part of the combo unless you’re fighting someone with 800k life because the meter forfeited by using Devil Trigger isn’t worth it if you don’t do lethal damage.

after 3hhh>stinger>carats, i personally think stinger (optional)>reverb shock is better than stinger>jetstream, mainly because if you fuck up and get crossed up, you will get tempest most of the time, and maybe multi lock (not punishable in this case)sometimes. if you fuck up with stinger>jetstream, you might get jam session (won’t combo into million dollars if it hits, gets raped on blocked) or hysteric (they can just mash out). dmg is roughly the same, give or take 5k. hitboxes would affect the dmg too, since typically jetstream>fireworks does not get a lot of firework shots in compared to reverb shock>fireworks on some chars
3.if you’re going to do carats>DT>follow up, i think something like
3hhh>stinger>carats>cancel to DT as soon as the hitbox is formed>acid rain>5s>j.S>ender would be better for dmg
or 3hhh>stinger>acid rain>DT after 2 shots hit>5s>TK acid rain>optional 5s/carats>j.S>ender

TitaniumBeast! BnB #2 from the OP works on everyone and is easy to do. On female characters you have to delay the Jet Stream(QCB+H) to prevent them from flipping over you.
Weird, I tested this with other flight-capable characters and they weren’t able to do similar things, even with XF3. So it’s Dante-specific. Very strange.
I just tested it and I could only get the 2 preflight Thunderbolts, 8 in flight, and then when I did :qcf::s: the game just did absolutely nothing, even after double jumping. Same if I tried to do Vortex. It wouldn’t even do the Helm Splitter instead if I input the move correctly, unless the Devil Trigger had worn off. Other moves come out as normals, though.
so i posted this in the other thread but in my hunt to do more than a million damage with wesker / dante DHC (which currently costs a total of 1 bar), seen in this vid

with wesker it’s pretty hard to do more damage, but i’m not concerned with that right now
what’s important is building the meter for dante to devil trigger after grapple, then DHC trick into wesker’s stuff.
in isedelica’s vid, he gets the 2nd bar just after his wall bounce when he does million carats. I’m not sure if grapple will build as much meter, but chances are it’ll be possible to sneak in another hit somewhere
basically, you do the loop up to the 39 hits, stinger to wall bounce, then bold cancel into missiles, and cancel the missiles really late into grapple. works every time, timing is the same in the corner too, it seems.
and when you bring in wesker, he builds enough meter with his beat down to finish with maximum wesker.
If you get it all, you can do something like 1.1 million damage with 0 bars. if you really need to kill thor and co., you dhc once more into a powered up million dollars after maximum wesker and that’ll kill everyone
that’s just a theory, but here’s my advice if ppl are trying to hit isedelica combo consistently. I’m hoping for some feedback as well because it’s so difficult -
i try to hold back during the consecutive launchers because if you get too close on them the bullets go underneath them on their way up. in addition, it really helps if you do the j. h after air play late because the closer they are to the ground when you initially hit with the first launcher, the closer you can bring them down to the ground to do more launchers, thus extending your combo, damage, and most important in this case, meter gain
pressing two H’s for guns is ideal. and generally, you can eyeball it.
it’s REALLY hard to hit consistently on someone like zero and on someone like felicia or chris i hit it like 10% of the time right now. work in progress for sure
I have no ideas on how to hit with the stinger, since i’ve only gotten to the 39 hits a couple times. also, i’m not 100% sure if the combo ends there
