yea sometimes after a 20+ hour marvel marathon, i feel like picking a team besides Rowtron for a game or two.

If you’d listen to what i said and not quick up jump the gun and reply, I said an “OPTION”…that YOU can choose whether you want those characters enabled or not…which means its NOT permanent. If you wanna play tournyfag teams online 24/7 and feel bored doing it…go right ahead…I for one would like a guarantee shot of not always having to pick those same damn teams just cuz of my opponent ALWAYS does for me to even stand a chance of winning…shits boring.
Me = Low - Top Tier chars on occasion = Fun
You = Tourny teams always = boredom, frustration, and miserable = always competitive and serious = No Fun

You’d be surprised what strider/doom can do with Cyke or Commando as his third. Magneto and storm have a hard enough time as it is rushing that down. Imagine what the rest of the cast would have to put up with

Well, it’s not really that simple on both accounts. Take Strider/Doom/Commando vs. MSP for example. Even a decent MSP player knows he can’t call psylocke because if he does and Strider has one bar, she gets hurt bad. It’s not that the MSP player isn’t used to variety. It’s that Strider/Doom/Commando just flat out shuts down that team with the options it has available. You have 90% of your rushdown angles cut off and you can’t run away and you can’t countercall.
Ken also stops Strider/Doom for free… if you’re talking about a Strider/Doom from 2001. All Ken’s Anti Air does is keep Strider from dropping doom in the middle of the screen and getting lazy with lockdown, which is really only a luxury when you take into account that he won’t have to worry about Mag/Sent/Storm/Cable anymore. And even if Ken does take care of a Doom assist, what then? How many characters after that have the options to follow up effectively against Strider let alone stop him from killing Ken on the way down? Ken is on the screen for a long time. And if Strider has one bar, the best case scenario is that you won’t be calling Ken for a long time if he’s still alive after what happens next.
Its why they should institute my point system idea.

2 - Cyclops etc tier
1 - roll tier
That way scrubs can have a reasonable way at starting the game and learning. There is no way after ten years that first timers will be able to pick up the game and compete. It will like they will be in year 2000 tech and good player will be from the future.
