Happens a lot. I have noticed people who can’t block simple moves but somehow they can pull off magic series and various other multi button combo’s without fail. It’s ashame that some have to resort to this to win and kind of takes the fun and challenge out of some online games.
Correct. When EA had the fighting license Capcom could not re-release their games. Basically there would have to be a clause in EA’s license that would allow other companies to re-release older fighting games and such a thing is hella rare.
If you want more info, I’d advise going over to the Capcom boards and digging through Capcom USA employees Sven and Lost’s posts over the last two to three years. Both of them have talked about the Marvel license ordeal extensively. Which is why quite a few of us know a lot about it. And if not, there’s always the “Ask Capcom” section where you can just ask them whatever and they’ll tell you whatever you want to know within reason, seriously.
Anyway, Team Martial Artists vs. Team New Avengers! That’s the way it SHOULD be lol! Looking forward to Thursday!
The only problem i know for a fact im going to have with the game online are the rage quitters…seriously, capcom should inflict and ENFORCE! penalties or demotions for repeated rage quits. Removing the option to exit the game while playing online is a start.
I can just see it happening, I snap back my opponents char along with his assist into dead man infinite, He’ll leave the game for sure. I know it’ll be funny at first…but after awhile it’ll just get annoying.
I used to think Stormthrax (Storm/Sent/CapCom) was the best anti-MSP team until I tried swapping CapCom for Psy. Magnus has no chance against a Storm backed with drones and Psy AA. If Mag gets hit with Psy AA and Storm has >2 meters, it ggpo.
storm’s(or IM’s) priority, plus drones, plus random AAA is bad enough as it is for the characters that want to rush you down. make that AAA psylocke, and UGH. they may initially be able to get closer, but don’t mean shit with psy right there.
like you said, psy>DHC of death…and also psy>IM infinite…
clops-AA is better for the advance player who can combo it into a ROM/fastfly/storm->sent dhc. But for beginners, it’s definitely not as effective as commando-AA, which covers a lot more space.
Commando-AA is the BEST training tool for learning the basics of assist calling (not to mention perfect for anti-fly away storm and sent). Using clops/cyke first is like telling a 4 year old child to learn to ride a bike without training wheels on. I mean, it’ll happen, but with much frustration along the way.
I just don’t want people to waste their time choosing Commando-projectile or some shit like that. And stop being such an arrogant douche. Douche.
i dont think scrubs will run away after getting raped in this game for one reason:
this is MARVEL and this is AMERICA. we were all born to play this game.
it never ceases to amaze me how i can walk into a random arcade, and see a random person ive never seen before picking cable, sent, commando and knowing the basics at least. scrubs just seem to pick this game up faster than traditional street fighter games.
i do predict a lot of ragequits from GOOD players though…as soon as magneto gets first hit or double snap lol.
For those that say people are just gonna flock to the same god tier teams (MSP, MSS, etc) bitch to Capcom about adding an option to disable those characters if your hosting or joining a server that has those characters disabled. So you wouldn’t have to worry about always playing with the same god tier teams to counter your opponents god tier teams over and over and over again (Trust that shit gets boring after awhile, At least i can admit it)…I for one have a lot more fun with the game playing with Low - Top Tier characters…LOL, Why always so serious?
