M’s defo the best for Happy Birthday LLs IMO. H variant is really messy when you have characters that are drastically different in size. L suffers from the same problem + not giving enough time to adjust to the “death freeze”. M keeps them all at the same level no matter the size difference so yeah tis my preferred way to go for that. what are the best combos/parts of combos to build meter with?

Well um, trying to learn to do his corner carry combo, but after the falling J.M and i do the j.MM xx buster they drop when i do the first M. Any idea why?

Falling j.M has to be as late as possible/ close to the ground as possible and your combo start has to be as basic as possible. Jump ins etc mess up the jump loop. Worth looking in to other corner carry combos for simplicity’s sake.

Are the M Raikousens used in this combo buster canceled or not?

meh I only got 2nd at the tournament but I played like shit, I took some bad desicions at the end + not knowing the matchups. The Tvs had input lag also, so I couldnt do any proper combo. Ive heard of an adapter to eliminate input lag, does it work=

some Chris/Spencer/Taskmaster dude. I didnt know the counter to Chris’ super jump back gun xx magnum which chipped me a lot. Now I tested it in training mode and I found you can actually jump near him and wait for the 1st gun and lv3 buster in between.

But honestly, I have no idea what to do vs Chris as Zero.

yeah someone i met out of town raped me with his chris, no idea how to handle it

yeah but that’s fine, now I know more stuff about that and what I should and should not be doing in general gameplay, so I learned something important.

Also, my Zero/Doom is good, but im not so sure about Vergil last. I mean, he’s amazing and has the best DHC in the game, but Id like to explore other options like

Zero/Doom (missiles)/Magneto (disruptor) or Zero/Doom (missiles instead of plasma)/Vergil. But idk how well Missiles Doom goes with Vergil.

Its not to bad. Its doesn’t give you the typical left right mixups but it does give you solid combo extensions and reset options. Probably wont matter as its vergil anchor anyway.

zero dante magneto players: how do you corner carry from a buster starter without using jam session for a pickup?

i will have to look into this, i was trying that team in casuals and while i dont think its AS godlike as my team, it is pretty godlike. i kept missing all my relaunches though because i was autopilioting thinking it was vergil assist, disruptor of course isnt as lenient.

Does anyone have advice on consistently using the vergil extension after a double relaunch Since I’ve dropped doom I have to rely on vergil more for corner combo extension and its just not consistent [media=youtube]91Pgwqic908[/media] so I’ve only done that only like 3 times I have to get that full combo out.

new to Zero and i run zero/doom/strider

sometimes when i have a character on the ground and call doom assist (missles) in the corner the missiles seem to ruin the combo by hitting the character out, is there a way around this or am i doing something wrong?

there’s no trick… just try to hit S as soon as possible when you leave the ground.

jump back then call doom

Wow, this is probably the easiest corner carry i’ve done, had it down in about 10-15 minutes, carries way further and practically doesn’t need a buster charge to start with, plus it works a lot more consistently on the smaller characters. You don’t even need to do that jump loop shit at the end, after L Raikousen you can just straight launch into jMMHS and they can be relaunched into LLoop
