woo just figured out why i kept messing up lol ty and do you know if the if the h version does more damage than the reg one?

Does 10K-30K more (At best). It’s really just a negligible amount either way.

i have 2 questions, how do you get the tk dive to cause the hkd after lighting? like is it height dependent because when i try it hits but they just flip out after the hit. second when i do s.m s.h =>h s mmhs dive buster lighting cr.h s 2h s(or mmhs) dive buster lighting s+vergil assist s dive they flip out after the dive hits? when i see other zero players like mihe do this combo with no problem

you need to do a launcher first so that M/H dive cause hkd, you cant do it if you OTG dive BC > L raikousen. It easier to do it with Dante’s Jam session assist.

The ender is actually S + vergil j.S. vergil hits j.S. or maybe you’re doing it too slow, remember that hitstun decay works like a timer, so the faster you do the combos, the better.

the vergil part i get it to hit consistently i just when i try to extend

the vergil part is consistent for me just when the otg dive connects they flip out. i was running zero vergil wesker and i was looking for a extender to crack a 1mill because all my other bnbs with the lighting loop was dealing about 967k. but i replaced wesker with ammy for her lock down assist. i was asking about the dive causing a hkd after lighting because i seen after lighting loops people just tk the dive and go into skittles and that is a tod i figured ill go that route but it doesnt work for me :frowning:

you cannot use the dive to make them fall over unless you have hit S to launch them up, which you are doing right. problem is when youre hitting S the second time during the vergil assist extender, you are removing the dive’s HKD. you won’t find a video of Mihe doing "s+vergil assist s dive* " *because it’s not possible. he does S -> vergil -> S -> skittles.

there’s an alternative which i use pretty often, which is:
launch them into the corner after whatever full combo you do (but you need to fall down fast enough to call vergil, if you do 2h it won’t work) then you call vergil assist ASAP, do a full jump (not super jump) into H. dive, hit S before vergils asisst sends them up, then you jump at them buster into dive into skittles. you can also lightning loop instead of diving at the end.

i see thanks, but i think i am miss understood because i emulating mihes corner bnb with vergil just they tech out(im doing magic series dive buster lighting cr.H S 2H S dive buster lighting s+vergil assist s assist hits S dive then they flip out). which is only if u do zeros corner relaunch combo lets say it magic series dive buster lighting s + vergil s, s dive buster lighting it works but when i do this same combo but added with the relaunch combo at the otg part they flip out. for some reason no matter which combo i do at the 3rd otg they flip out even with the buster loop

i seen that cloud805er video i actually do that dhc when i dont want to risk dropping the lighting loop but instead i do evil toasters version

oh, well i know you can’t do the 3rd dive into skittles via vergil assist double S, but if youre going for lightningloop, i think the dive is reallllly tight timing on the 3rd otg (like you have to buster ASAP or else your giving too much time for HSD to kick in). cause the same thing happens to me after trying a really long combo.

the reason mihe can almost always connect it is because he does it earlier int he combo than you are. his vergil assist call is generally after 1 full air rep, then he’ll slam em down, buster lightning s, call vergil, S, do lightning again and by then you can lightning loop them and very likely are dead (assuming he used dante’s assist as an opening already)

ohh ok thanks i was trying to get it consistently so with the lighting loop i can crack 1mill but just for consistency i leave it out

how do you use striders vajra assist in a corner combo? im wondering where to call the assist in the combo that puts the opponent in a hard knockdown after a ryujin

Soon as you land from OTG Buster xx L Lightning, Call Strider then H Ryuenjin. You can do some other things but that’s the easiest option.

^What this guy above said. After Hiryu hits, you can either go into Rekkouha (lazy option) or do delayed a super delayed Sentsuizan H into Buster --> Raikousen L --> lightning loop/Ryuenjin.

Additionally, I have a combo that uses both Jam Session and Vajra if you happen to use that assist. It goes like this:

Call Dante, s.S, Dante hits, Raikousen H, wait, buster, Raikousen L, call Hiryu, Ryenjin H, Hiryu hits, Rekkouha. This information is probably useless to you, but I figured I’d include it anyway for the lulz.

I find doing the Dante ender afterwards works out better tbh. Forgot the reason why haven’t played Dante/Strider in a while.

Of course it does. I just like to use this because [S]I’m lazy[/S] it’s more consistent online.

I meant after the Strider assist. As opposed to your one of Dante first and Strider afterwards.

i dont go into the lightning loop, i cant do it yet but i found out that the lazy option into Rekkouha then DHC’n into skrull does more then 900000 which kills half the cast!

Are these combo’s even possible on a pad? charging the buster and preforming the combo at the same time is nearly impossible with one thumb, isn’t it?
