Call an assist, OTG with Sentsuizan, do stuff.

Also it seems like it’s possible with certain positioning (maybe character specific) to link c.L (without x-factor) after a H-Sentsuizan OTG, but I’ve only been able to do it after a command grab with Sentinel in the corner and then hard-tag to Zero. I haven’t been able to replicate it with Zero’s throws alone even though that should actually be easier since the HSD timer should be lower.

Off of front air throw I can combo into Jam Session then jump loops and shit. Back air throw seems possible, just really hard. Off of ground front/back throw it just doesn’t seem possible outside of the corner.

randomly reminded me of the fact you could do sentsuizan otg buster in vanilla, but it seemed to be a 1f link

I was gonna say CapAm, but I just tested it, so NVM haha. I just remember his hit box being weird for some reason. Dunno why…

It does seem to be hitting less consistently compared to other characters though.

From air throw in the corner, you can do qcb.:l: > land > Sougenmu then OTG for a combo.

I had a question I’m trying to play Zero/Dante/Vergil for giggles! I hear it’s super popular. When I do the lightning loop into vergil assist i see people also go into jam session. Is there a trick to s+ jam session. Every time I try it they flip out of cause of hit stun decay. :frowning:

yes, you have to call dante, wait a bit and then do S, if not they will flip out of the combo.

you constantly put yourself in the corner just to shoot buster and fall back down from super jump height. you need to stop putting yourself in the corner lol, unless you have a plan to lightning out or something. also work on converting from going straight up with zero (instead of TAC’ng)

lol ruin i can show you how to dante assist extender super easily, next time were at gem just ask!

i always hate going straight up, there are certain situations where you barely get any dmg if you can even manage to confirm

guys how do i end a combo with a rekkoha with vergil’s Rapid slash and sentinel Drones assist

I’m pretty sure some of the regulars on here have better suggestions, but you can’t really. If you do OTG Sentsuizan + Rapid Slash, it won’t work because of the ridiculous amount of startup Rekkoha has.

The only time you should be using Rekkoha is if it’s a guaranteed kill(IMO), or with Jam Session assist.

You have some options:

  1. Learn the Lightning Loop.
  2. Do: OTG-able State > Call Rapid Slash + Normal Jump Up > :m: Setsuizan (OTG) > (Rapid Slash starts hitting) :s: xx Super Jump Up > air lv3. buster xx :l: Raikouzen > land > TK (Tiger knee) :m: Setsuizan > land > Rekkoha
  3. End the combo with Rekkoha and go for the Zero/Vergil Spiral Swords DHC.

Without a LL you’re going to need some sweet awesome DHC trick(like dante devil trigger or vergil swords), you’re not using your drones in the combo either. I’m sure someone here knows a good way to incorporate some drones into a Zero combo for a damage boost.

Also did all the Zero/Ammy players know you can call Ammy right before you throw, any throw, air, ground, front or back she will get hits through Zero’s throw animation then hold the opponent in the air waiting for a combo to be started?

I love me some Ammy, even though I’m absolutely terrible with her.

High enough for what? your buster to not fully charge? That just means you haven’t got the timing down on holding your charge as early as possible, you’ll have that same problem with the normal LL.

the h lightening doesn’t bring them high enough meaning they drop way too fast. in the video of it when the person does the h lightning the opponent’s like floating in the air for like an extended period of time i don’t know how to get that ( and i have the regular loop down pat. @ 95% consistently )

Haven’t got a clue, never seen that happen. But if you got regular LL down- just don’t bother with H I guess. Except for certain DHCs i.e. DHCing after Chaotic Flame.

Yep. You have to otherwise you risk screwing up the height and buster charge (I’ve tried not TKing it before).
