The thing is, if you try to stick a st.H and then launch, they end up too high and when you jump, you can miss either the buster or the j.Ms (you actually pass to the other side and they recover in the air), so just raw launch them for the sake of consistency. Also you can’t kinda let them fall too low after Jam session because they recover before reaching the ground, , unlike Rapid slash where you have time to get a st.H into launcher if you use it early or after a throw.
And if you do a small jump loop, the very last OTG H Dive xx buster doesnt combo sometimes, because of hitstun decay.
No problem, that’s the best ender if you use sentinel, it also works with vergil’s rapidslash, but instead of doing H Setnsuizan you do another j.S and then Otg with H sents xx buster > L raikousen
I can ToD from most anywhere on the screen but if I have an opponent near cornered and my lightning crosses him up and puts me in the corner then I don’t have a charged buster(because I used to to cancel lightning or a dive) and I think I have to launch them immediately. No time for Zero’s magic series to push the opponent back. I think that assist worked great for you because you were already 1/2 way across the level but all the dashing in the world isn’t going to get me to the corner in my situation.
Imagine you’re in the corner, you just started recharging buster and there is an opponent floating in front of you who just got crossed up by some sweet blue lightning. How do I kill him?
I’m thinking my only option is going to be H,S sj j.M,M,H land DHC into Vergil swords if I have the meter.
what assists are you using?
you can still do cr.m s.h f.h after and do this relaunch, there are no excuses to not corner carry with a stupid assist like vergil. if you meant buster then raikousen th, oh wait, it still works. from a buster starter you’ll need to do 2H S for the relaunch though.
oh and every vergil assist is shit other than rapid slash
Hello Gentlemen, So i just decided to replace my Tron with Zero, and I’m having problems getting high damage with Zero with my current team, I guess you can say that I feel like there’s no team synergy for extending Zeros combos. So far my team is Zero-Nova (Centorian Rush)-Sentinel (Drones) The only B&B I’ve come up with is the Magic series for Zero in the corner, meaning, L, M, H, Shippuga, S, s.M, s.M, s.H s.S, Land, M Sentsuizan lvl3 Buster, L Raikousen, c.H Launcher, s.M s.M s.H s.S Land, M Sentsuizan lvl3 Buster, L Raikousen, (launcher + Call Nova Centorian Rush Assist simultaneously), s.S M Sentsuizan Rekoha.
This does about 750k which is okay, but it’s not 1mill. Is there a way that i can get one million damage or at least 900k with my team, using Zero with out DHC? And with out the Lightning loop? I’m in the process of learning the lightning loop, so in about 2-3 weeks I should be able to incorporate it into my combos. Any help is much appreciated!
So, I’m basically asking if there is anyway to maximize my Zero damage using Centorian Rush & Drones assist, Mid-screen AND corner. And is there anyway that I can use Centorian Rush assist, and Drones in one combo? Thanks guys.
I’m using Vergil Rapid Slash and Ammy Cold Star. I think I’m just going to hope I have 2 bars when this situation happens.

@Nocternal123: They are going to get mad at you for that. Apparently there is no reason Zero should have to use assists to help him carry. Use lightning loop or Sentsuizan loop instead of Rekoha to increase damage.

That Lightning Loop is not easy to do for someone who just picked up Zero 3 days ago, such as myself. I never heard of the Sentsuizan loop, I guess I can check it out.
If anyone out there can answer my first question, that would be great!
I tried for a while, and the only way of getting 1mil with Zero (AFAIK) is using 1 LL or DHC, the closest ive gotten is using dante and vergil as extenders ad it did like 957k with 1 bar.
Thanks for trying. I noticed that all of Zeros damage comes from either the loop or Dantes Jam Session assist. I guess I have no choice but to rely on resets until I get this Loop down.
So, on to Phase 2: Resets: What are some good Zero resets that don’t require assist?
And, What are some really dirty mix-ups for incoming opponents? For example, I kill character 1, so here comes character 2.

Getting 1m+ without LL generally requires either pretty optimal confirms or just some extreme combo extenders. I’ve seen a couple reach 1m but this is the most i’ve seen.

As far as resets, a pretty basic one that catches all techs is just at the end of your last buster/rakousen relaunch, jump up back with a j.L and do L. Rakousen.
Incoming is pretty basic, just use a L Rakousen for a 50/50 crossup ( You can kinda eyeball where the Zero is to see if it’ll cross up but it works most of the time, try and make it as meaty as you can ), after that you can Hienkyaku+Assist to get your basic 50/50, and if that fails you can j.M Hienkyaku+Buster for another 50/50.
Is there anyway I can do the dive loop after 2 magic series? Or is the hit decay too much to start at that point? My both my 360 controllers D-pads went to crap(the transformable one just fell into pieces) so I’m using a Mad Catz WWE Brawl Pad for now but I usually drop my LL using this thing. (Going to have to buy one of those MLG pads).
