you dont have to omit the crouch h for that combo. also for vergil extension in the air i like to jump s M dive for 3000 extra damage. also if you are having trouble with hit stun decay you can do soemthing like this . L (charge buster) M H S j M H dive dash up H dive buster Lighting C H s S j M jM JH JS into extenders . imo also does more damage. i think anyway.

try the combo without :d:+:h:.

That was my WORST PERFORMANCE EVER. Not my day, I did it on stream but by hands were feeling spazalicious so I’ll just put it out there.

When you’ve got a lot of HSD in your combo and you OTG Buster xx Lightning, before launching calling Vajra, launch then j. M Raikousen in the air. This becomes a tech trap that covers all air-techs. There are a few ways to get out of it but I rather not publish em =) And when people do catch on you still have A LOT more options. This is just the beginning.

If anyone else can find fucked resets like that with a different assist i.e. Hidden Missiles lemme know.

searched through thread and couldn’t find it, but is steb ender still possible with ammy assist in this game after a standard bnb? been playing with it just for a little bit and i havent been able to get it, but admittedly i havent had much to to try it

I don’t think thats 100% safe. There may be neutral tech, mash grab. Show me the video. I don’t think anyone checks the zero boards anyway.

My favorite reset with zero is pretty funny/trollish. When you are relaunching people a first or second time with zero, people are often mashing the exchange button. Do air medium, medium, airdash back buster. You may need an assist on the ground to extend the combo so that buster is charge. Make sure you yank your controller really hard to, so that your opponent pushes a button. I’ll post a video of fighting someone online to show ya.

Nope you can’t press buttons at all, the only ways to get out are to:

[]Correctly block Strider and pushblock him so that you hover and completely miss the lightning (hard to do in itself)

]Correctly block both mixups/ traps.
[*]Mash a high vertical assist like Jam Session or Hulk’s DP so that it hits Zero and stops him from getting the Raikousen out.

And like I said, if people figure out the first 2 you can just command air dash to crossup with Vajra to prevent them from blocking it = hard knockdown = full BnB combo.
Otherwise it’s completely safe. Either way, if no one’s seen it I can 100% guarantee NO ONE is going to get out of it on their first and maybe 2nd try.


See 1:01:45 if Nova didn’t die, I’d simply fall down and do s.M relaunch.
And then 1:02:15 I do it on Chris…My hand spazzed out and sold the match cos of it x_x I was just tryna show the reset for archive purposes anyway so meh.

i like that strider setup. gonna steal some of this tech for when i have to fight higher healthed characters. i was also wondering you could do something like on the last rep of your combo with zero couldn’t you dive buster lightings forward h call strider then teleport mixup? not sure if the buster will be fully charged or not

Does anyone else have the problem of randomly jumping during the LL?
Like I jump and do the OTG buster stuff, but then instead of doing S to pick them up after theyre stunned by teh lightning, i randomly fucking jump again. Fucking everything up. Lol <_< also any suggestions other than shut up and do it right? :S

Ha ha, genius. I’m gonna give that a shot.

Sounds like you are probably doing the jump input before you press S. Slow it down a bit. If it’s the first buster relaunch you’re doing in the combo, you have a bit of time to jump up and do the air combo after launching them. No need to rush things all the time.

Jumping during the Lightning Loop means you are probably not pressing the L fast enough.

what does 2c or 2h mean?

Yeah the “lite” version from Vanilla still works. The assist has to be called as early as possible and the OTG dive has to be done as late as possible to ensure Cold Star lands properly. If your combo beforehand is too long then it wont work outright due to HSD

I had a stint with Ammy where I tried to make them work together, his synergy with her just isn’t what it used to be sadly. I then just moved on to Jam Session like everyone else. Cold Star is better saved in the neutral for lockdown mixups. If you do want to combo with it you’re probably better off using the assist during a ground string e.g. M, H (call assist), f+H (assist hits), M, H, f+H, S

Hello my fellow Maverick Hunters

I’m at the point where I can set up the LL but I’m having difficulty with my TK motions being consistent

I’m using a square gate atm, and I’m wondering if a circle or octagon gate would be better? I found doing TK motions on the 360 analog stick to be a little easier, but in the end I think it comes down to my timing

I’m here to see if there’s some trick you gentlemen used to make your LL consistent or not

Although I’ve got a feeling I’m just going to end up having to hit the training room 'til my fingers fall off
