Which is why I said you can’t tech it if they get the grab on the first possible frame.
I was in class so I skim read it, haha. People mash throw a lot nowadays. I’ve personally never used the light or medium version, just haven’t found a use for it. Using the Light Combination Punch at the end of a string is pretty risky because if there’s a push block, you’re whiffing it and that leaves you really wide open.
Can someone help me build a combo using dorm black hole assist and hidden missles?? and Also, is there a “trick” to get the QCF+H out when falling from a super jump after knocking them down? It never comes out for me
You have to press the air S as soon as possible and then input the QCF+H way later than you think. Start doing it way too late and then go faster and faster and you’ll get it. Also, Dark Hole and Missiles are two very hard assists to use effectively as combo extenders for Chris, but I’ll mess with it a bit. The Dorm/Missiles pair is nasty, and although I’ve been putting Magneto on point with them lately, I can’t help but think of putting Chris there.
EDIT: Right off the bat I 950K in the corner and mid screen. 760K corner-to-corner but that’s pretty minimal.
In other news, I discovered a 1 million damage solo combo for Chris with no X-Factor. Works in the corner or close to it. It’s pretty difficult to execute, but is worth the practice. The corner-to-corner variation on the other hand is really tough but also nets 1 million damage. Both combos only lose an eighth of a bar as well so that’s awesome. So now Chris can land 1 million damage anywhere on the screen by himself. Will try to get a video up in the next few weeks. Get hype.
Currently running Chris (Boulder Punch,) Dante (Jam Session,) and Akuma (Tatsu.) Find that Jam Session really helps when it comes to Chris. I hate playing keep away, but damn it’s too much fun with Chris. Can get some combo extensions for Dante with BP and Tatsu if I need to.
my team video combo with Haggar, Chris and Strider, showing the synergy of this team with insane combos and high damage.

I gave up on that team recently after a good 4 or 5 months playing it, legion screws up the team super too often, you can’t do enough damage with Haggar off a confirmed vajra knockdown, relies on resets or early x-factors in a lot of matches.
That said, I never thought up combos like those before, the Strider ones were especially sick. Nice work.
Thanks man, I play with Chris and Haggar from Marvel vanilla, strider added shortly after the launch of the ultimate.

After the falling Magnum, instead of doing Flamethrower, you should hold back during the super jump and then that will put you far enough away to connect with a Hard Combination Punch while the first hit whiffs. From there you can THC with Chris and Taskmaster and it will allow for a Flamethrower afterwards (make sure Chris is doing the Grenade Launcher super) and then you can cancel that into the Sweep Combo super if you want for added damage. Although the combo might become meter negative, it will most likely be a true Touch of Death. Nice to see you messing with Chris by the way.

LIKE THAT?
Just like that. Evo Grand Finals here we come.
While that’s flashier and leaves Chris in, I think doing the original version and then doing a DHC into Task up arrows the second the rocket hits, and if that doesn’t kill then the following up with an extra down arrow super is a better use of three meters. Mostly because you usually want to throw in as many flamethrowers as possible before you start using meter.
I played that team for a short while. It’s a good team. You should try that team out for real, Honzo.
After a corner combo is completed —> Flamethrower(171,200k)+Vajra(80k) = 75,360k in chip damage? Learning my numbers to know when I can just go into the chip out setup instead of using another super. Does the math look right on this? Probably a retarded question but I’m gonna ask because I don’t know for sure, chip damage doesn’t scale right?
Haha, there’s no retarded question. The issue with Flamethrower is that there is no guaranteed chip with it, as the opponent can push block immediately. Chris gets guaranteed chip from Flame Grenade, get push blocked, and then Machine Gun, and things like that. Just keep push block in mind when you’re coming up with chip setups. I don’t usually try to chip someone out unless they’re on magic pixel personally.
Here my combo archive for chris

This prolly won’t be useful for long time chris mains at all, this is mainly for people looking to pick up chris. Sorry I couldn’t find any new stuff, I am usually very good at finding new xfactor tech but chris literally just kills everyone with his bnb in xf so why bother. Flamethrower in xf1 does 440k min
hopefully denjins new solo combo will make up for mine
That was slick. Nice stuff. I liked the progression of difficulty. I actually remember using that first combo and then slowly moving on to the next ones. There really hasn’t been many introductory combo videos for Chris, or at least not for a while, so it’s a nice refresher.
I keep waiting to figure out how to get recording up again, but whatever, this is the most I’ve been able to get out of Chris solo for one bar:
:d::h::f::h::qcb::h:(walk back a step):d::h::dp::l::h::f::h::s::h::s::dp::l::d::l:(to blow up the mine):qcf::h::s::s::qcf::h:(dash forward):h::qcb::dp::atk::atk:
Corner only
878k
.75 bars positive.
