Welcome to the meter positive one touch kill club, haha. Awesome combo man. Might I ask why you only used one combination punch in the beginning instead of two? I’m gonna guess hit stun decay.

In most of my openers they would either pop out at Hawkeye arrows, or if I was tight enough there they would pop out between the sj HS before I called Cap.

I also realized that I have been in the meter positive million club for awhile. I did a solo Frank West combo that did over 1 million. Builds about 3 meters and only uses 1.

That sounds nuts. Glad you brought some of that combo building to Chris.

I love love love Chris as a character but I cannot find myself a good team to build for him. This one just replaced Chris for Dormammu.

It seems like every team you can build around Chris could be better if there was just one more aspect you could add to it. I feel like I wish I could play four characters at a time but yeah, finding that Chris team is tough.

On small/medium hurtbox characters, landmine works for the solo grenade super as well, it seems.

Known possible ways to link 2 supers in the corner? Nobodys is as easy as Spencers = ( They always seem to pop out after vajra I think im doing it wrong. Looking to build an original Chris team.

Landing a Grenade Launcher hyper almost always allows a flamethrower into Sweep Combo afterwards in the corner. Usually you will have to find a way to connect with it after cancelling out of an M. Grenade since the opponent will fall out of the Grenade Launcher if it hits them airborne. This combo is one of many examples.

I will, as well. And, for absolutely no reason and no reward, I challenge that my combo will do more damage than his combo. GAUNTLET THROWN.

Alright, I’ve got a ton of homework today so I only tested it out slightly but I couldn’t find any extensions in the corner with those two assists but I found a corner to corner combo that went for 920K damage but was slightly meter negative. You’ll have to rely on Nefarious on that corner combo or wait until I get all this homework done to actually get some time in with it. The corner to corner combo goes like this (with your back to the wall).

cr.m > st.h > f.h > s > j.m > j.m > j.h> j.s > j.machine gun > st.h > s > j.m > j.m > j.h > j.s > call Hawkeye > j. magnum > s xx medium grenade xx Grenade Launcher > Flamethrower xx Sweep Combo

Hawkeye should be called simultaneously with your jump into magnum. The S has to be delayed a bit to let the arrows start coming down and it also has to be super jump canceled into the medium grenade. Requires a little execution but it’s pretty basic with a little practice.

Ill be on sometime this weekend to look some up myself, but that corner to corner looks sick, how much meter does it build? if its at least 1.5 then i should be able to land it twice (Start of the match 1 + 1.5 = 2.5 - 2 = .5 + 1.5 = 2 -2 = 0). For now im just going to guess that if i use tasks V. arrows assist the combo would be able to work midscreen with jump back magnum + assist because task’s has less horizontal range. And also You could have changed the assists also. I was just looking for the most optimal combo using one or both of those characters.

Sorry if it sounds like im trying to make you guys come up with combos for me, i dont mean to. I really appreciate the help.

c.m > h > f.h > Boulder H > c.H > Magnum > S > j.HS > Falling Magnum > Hori arrows (maybe poison shot also) + Flamethrower > Sweep Combo

Should be useful near the corner, i dont know how scaling would be effected, or if damage would even be worth it. I dont think Hori arrows gives me time for Flamethrower > Grenade M > Grenade Super > follow up

The combo loses about an eighth of a bar (almost meter neutral) so it sort of puts you at a tough spot but the match would have to progress a little to have your back to the wall and land a hit so you will have more than a meter at that point. The assist are a little hard to use but I didn’t try switching them around. I’ll look at it a little more tonight since I’m wrapping up homework. That combo you wrote would probably work but it only adds a little more damage than the standard BnB but more damage is more damage so by all means use it. I don’t know if you can do j.h > j.s and land a falling magnum, never tried it actually, but that can just be changed to just j.s. Also, make sure you use two combination punches. Maybe you just wrote one on accident but yeah. If I don’t get back to you tonight I’ll definitely hit you up tomorrow. Let me know if the corner to corner combo is a little confusing and I’ll try to get a video up with it.

Beginner Chris question:

Can someone tell me how to end combos with Grenade Launcher? If the ice hits otg, they break on their way down. I’ve seen people (GCYoshi, I believe) use M or H Grenade Toss to make Grenade Launcher work at the end of combos. How does this work? I’ve tried doing it, but it seems I can never be fast enough to throw the grenade and cancel into Grenade Launcher. Even if Sweep Combo is a lot easier and more probable to end combos with, I’d still like to know how to finish combos with Grenade Launcher. Please help!

Yeah, you can’t just do it, but there is a wide variety of ways, but it depends on assist. Who else is on the team?

Yeah, your right two combination punches. Oops. And I always thought it was j.h j.s then air magnum? I’ll just try it Friday. Thought I could use it as a better bnb then the one I use now I’ll experiment more later.what makes the assists hard to use? Is it the fact that vert arrows have a blind spot?
