Fighting a good Blanka seems like a total crapshoot at best. It’s like you have to play random in order to win >_< I could have just as easily lost both of those rounds instead of won them, blarg.
Any tips on how to play more solid against Blankas? Or is it a lost cause? I kinda feel like it is, lol.
It’s online so take this with a grain of salt but work a little bit on your punishes and hit confirms. In terms of the matchup I think you did the right thing by being unpredictable. You can’t really zone a good blanka and they are hard to outpoke. Just gotta make him defend and force errors. A little too much jumping in for offence as well.
- Don’t let anyone jump in on you. You could have won both matches by pressing standing hard punch everytime your oppenent jumped in on you.

To help people out with Dudley…I won the match…FRAPS just broke the video in half…ill upload round 2 later…i dont really need help with the match up…this was just a warm up.fuked up a couple of jump ins…just a scratch getting ready for that health boost 
…i guess we can pay attention to the footsies and what normals to use at what given distance…and the ending was pretty ill…he didnt see that shit coming…i tried it again in round 2 but he blocked and never punishes so i got away with it

I liked your rush down style. I especially liked your use of f+mk > b+mp xx lk.slash counterhit setups. I just learned that b+mp combos after ch f+mk a couple days ago and I’m trying to use it more than cr.lp. Also I’m not sure if it’s reactions or anticipation but either way your really quick to stuff certain things that I for one am slow to react to.
There are only two things that I am not sure about. You seem to want to save up for Super almost as a rule. I find that I generally do better if I use my meter in fadc combos rather than super. The other thing was that you got hammered with an ultra for doing too many slash mixups on against the first akuma on their wakeup and then with a dp in the second vid. Imo Oni needs to use those mixups sparingly against better opponents.

Shinochan vs Daigo

So slash sucks and oni can be zoned all day long. Not surprised at that outcome lol.
Mid range killed him for the most part
First match at least, shino seemed too hellbent on getting in. I mean, it’s Daigo, yeah. But generally I’d fight the fireball war. Both have hado, ex hado and tatsu as standard, but you can get multihit balls with charge and gorai without using meter, and have ex slash to boot. And in an fb war, the lack of range on standard balls doesn’t matter as much as most hits will be coming from the multihit stuff anyway.

Two things about these replays:
- The pressure that the other Oni is applying in the first three matches… Is it safe? I’m just curious… I started DPing out of it As I knew he’d just keep going and going till he got a hit. Couldn’t seem to jab out of it… I suppose if this sort of pressure is applied sparingly it’s okay, but he was following demon slashes up every time.
- General critique on my play would be great… I was dropping FADC combos (and strangely lp > TC2) more than usual unfortunately… I was playing a few DP mashers previous to these replays and it seems my execution always fails me when they come out of the woodwork!

Good Anti-airs, nice poking. The only things I’d say is be careful with the shoryus, you had a few whiffed ones there. You perhaps weren’t capitalising enough on knockdowns there. He didn’t show any signs of DPing on wakeup as far as I know, you perhaps should have tested that. The Ryu was controlling the flow of the match with his fireballs, perhaps be less hesitant to throw them back! Hope that helps! I’d say it was a good but slightly reckless idea to go for a double FADC combo like that at the end, but you got him stunned and that sealed the deal! Nice Broly skin too, I used to use the ‘Inferno’ Oni skin but I haven’t put it back since a reinstall.
