Any improvements you see that could be done to this combo? I’d love to build 2 or more meters out of it to guarantee a Super Nova DHC.

Two things:
One combo with my -not so good- team that finally kills Thor. begins with Nova;

Way ahead of you posted in both topics at the same time to cover the most people possible. Didn’t post on the sent boards because sent doesn’t do anything there except call drones.
Nice use of ground bounce resets there. Pretty sure that’s technically the most damage Dante will ever get off an air throw hahaha
I think if you wanted to build more meter you’d have to go into clay pigeon loops at some point.
That actually hit my shortly after uploading the video. I might be able to get a couple of Clay Pigeeons in that combo, or at least extend the only one to the maximum. Since by then, damage scaling has hit the top (or rather, bottom) and everything in the combo after that is a fixed-hitstun or special state, it’s basically free damage. I have to try that!
Question for the nova combo gods: is it possbile to do an extention with rapid slash while either preserving ground bounce and/or ending with a launch? The idea/reason I ask is I’ve been playing nova vergil doom-b, but would like to swap vergil and doom, so I can tac from nova to doom. Just wondering if, in doing so, it’d be possible to also extend with RS.
It may be too much having cake and eating it too, but couldn’t hurt to ask thanks!
Note: dunno if its possible, but if there’s an otg RS extension that, itself, ends with a launch… that would be the solution right there
Hm…i sorta kinda understand what you mean but I would first like to ask how home you want to end with a launch/save a ground bounce? I’m assuming you wanna save the bounce so you can do DHC’s to vergil then sword loops? As for the launch, I’m like 90% certain you can do any regular Nova BnB ending with j.S, call Vergil, L.rush and then H rush which ends with a launch
hey guys what is the easiest version of his infinite ?
I appreciate the response, but if you read my post I gave the exact reason for the question, and its about having doom 2nd. Though if L rush H rush gives a launch, that could very well do it, thanks!
Not really an extension, but I found that you can do this in the corner.
cM, sH, S, jH, Fly, jH, Unfly, H, land, A1, jH, Fly, jH, Unfly, land, Cent Rush H, jH, TAC
The first bit is the basic H-loop, but instead of relaunching, call Vergil as soon as you touch the ground and jump back up to tag them with the rest of the combo. It has to be a Cent Rush H at the end, I’ve tried using S at the end instead, but I can’t get any TACs out of that. The timing is a bit tight overall, so have fun practicing >.>
Well yeah i saw that part so I figured it would be to get DHC to sphere and if necessary, DHC to swords, superjump, helmet breaker etc etc etc lol but yeah that works…now I see you wanted to be able to TAC to Doom. I don’t think about TAC combos since I don’t use them so that was the last thing in mind. But yeah, np at all.
TBH, I dont bother with them…you’re better off doing a combo and DHCing to Nova
I couldn’t get L rush H rush to work, but L rush M rush let me launch. Having trouble consistently getting the M rush to hit at the end of the RS. Seems like you have to wait a sec and let them fall a bit. Just don’t want them to flip out while I do. If the M rush hits though, combo is golden.
Edit: mega frustrating… I just spent the last hour doing nothing but corner bnb, call RS, otg L rush, M rush. And id estimate 40% of the M rushes hit, 60% whiff, with seemingly no rhyme or reason. I varied some of the timings of diff parts, but nothing that consistently worked or didn’t work. Does anyone run vergil with nova that might have some clue about this?? Lol /edit
Zewo. That’s actually pretty sweet. Only ‘problem’ is I don’t use the fly unfly stuff outside of the corner. So to be ‘universal,’ was lookin for some kind of extension that could work off any knockdown if possible. Likewise if somehow the combo starts with groundpound (corner grab, mixup, etc), there goes the ground bounce.
Sorry for double post, but have an entirely diff question: the whole raw tag doom off air grab into otg thing… should that be doable anywhere on screen? Midscreen sometimes dooms too far to otg, and corner doom hits them on the way in screwing up the knckdown. I’m just wondering, if one does this correctly, should this be a guaranteed conversion off any air grab? Or is it screen location dependant?
Just don’t wanna practice something inherantly inconsistent. Thanks guys!
You need diagonally airdash with a normal when you’re mid screen and airdash down with j.M in the corner. That way you have enough time to do st.H and st.M midscreen. I think someone posted a video of it recently somewhere.
Anyway, I was experiment using different Gravimetric Pulses within the combo and I made some interesting combos. I only use Vajra within the combos and I know for sure if I had another assist I can probably extend the combos even more. I have a couple more coming that are done midscreen. Check them out.

Nice, I knew someone would find significantly more damaging combos with the higher level pulses. subscribes
I would definitely pick up strider for nova if I didn’t downright dislike him, vajra is all sorts of dumb
Vajra is really really great. Also, Strider is amazing, unless you’re fighting one. He’s really fun to play just because, once you pop x-factor and become dark, you become a god until it x-factor runs out. Even then, I’ve made A TON of comebacks without x-factor. He’s one of the only characters that can pressure you non-stop while being completely safe.
