DEAR NIOVA THREAD!!,

I now have a capture card =)…It’s just an easycap so it’s nothing AMAZING BUT, what this means is the amount of time/effort it would take for me to record has been cut basically in half. SOO, Where am I going with this? I know people have a lot of Nova teams they want combos for so quote this post and write a team you want a combo or two for since I plan on doing a lil video with Nova ft. other characters.

My post above with Nova/Task/Akuma would be awesome Mainly need ways to either extend bnbs or set up dirty stuff (ideally a tag in combo for task)

I’d be interested to see what you come up with for Nova/Doom (Missiles)/Ammy, both assists offer good extension capabilities for Nova, but i haven’t settled on the optimal BnB with both available yet.

You don’t have to do the duo only. I was really in need of an inspiration to use for my team. The Task, Nova, Wackbot trio will do fine.

Aren’t there enough videos of Infrit out there to look at the Nova/Sentinel pairing? =/ I can’t find any videos or examples of Nova with tatsu assist to extend or for any particular set ups besides super scrubby old casual videos from when the game came out.

The timing is almost way too tight to try the forward H > wait a split sec > akuma assist > Centurion Rush M > Centurion Rush L > Hyper. They almost randomly pop out of the tatsu before the M hits unless the timing is super perfect (which is hard online), so I need other ways to use tatsu to get a bit more damage in, or at least some optimal confirms off of a tatsu hit at the beginning (like do you jumping h as the tatsu hits, then land and M H S?)

Most of the Infrit stuff always has SPENCER for the wire grab Human Rocket :h: for the crumple. There’s almost never a moment when Spencer is not involved in his Nova combo. Which is why I was asking about just Sentinel and Nova.

What makes this more amazing is that you could probably up the damage further with using Spencer Assist too. Hella good find, I’m gonna implement this into my game now.

I was pretty impressed with that tac glitch technology, I’m definitely stealing all that

It’s fancy, but I don’t see the practical point in it; glitches like this can be countered just like regular TACs. And with infinites and other characters with higher minimum damage scaling you could squeeze out more damage by doing an actual TAC than these easily. Not to mention they’re potentially more telegraphed since only one TAC is associated iwth a given combo.

I actually figured this out accidentally a while ago. It’s very hard to do and can be countered since it’s a TAC. Unfortunately. But! I found that if you do it at the end of a combo, you can get a TAC to whiff very close to the ground and if they’re mashing S you get a free grab, which is great for Nova since if you have a character you can raw tag, means death from a TAC whiff.

Though, this guy definitely took this shit to another level. Double Nova Force supers?! Sick.

Yo dougiie I really like your team. I think I’m gonna use it. I was trying to make my mind between task and hawk eye after watching some much of your vids. Taskmaster just seem like the choices
