So my other Nova buddy in Miami, CorruptTayson, discovered something incredibly interesting with Nova’s TAC’s that solves a problem that we all have. While doing any TAC with Nova you can run into the problem that once you j.S them, you can’t Cent Rush L to Super because of hitstun deterioration. Of course if you didn’t use your ground bounce you can Nova Slam to Super, but there’s a better way.
At the ending of any TAC there’s a way after a rocketpunch to airdash down, j.H, land, grav pulse M, to Super. Kinda like Doom. I have to record it to show you, but it’s the best possible TAC that isn’t an infinite.

(yes, there are many variations to these, but these are roughly how they work)
Nice, only thing I think is if you can cut the shields out ( if there’s red health ) and just do Nova strikes and save the red health for the super so it does more damage.

If you have Spencer assist you can use it to hit the L Cent into Super
Yeah, I know, but this is more of a general TAC type ender. The slant shot assist works, but if you don’t have an assist available it won’t. This way the ender works everytime. No assists needed.
SOOOO…for those that saw my video jump cancelling H C.rush on hit guess what? …with Rapid slash assist, you can H rush and in the middle of that, you can cancel it with a TK M C.rush for a ground bounce >__< God FRIGGIN DAMN im broken lmfaoooo

I feel like I spend so much time with Nova/Spencer that I limit myself. But now because of this, I’m ALMOST SURE it’s possible with Frank West cart assist can do it too. But yeah I hate the shit out of Vergil too man. I wanted to play him when I first saw is trailer but he’s too…idek…Like i thought they were over exaggerating on streams when they spoke about him and then I ran a long set with someone using Yipe’s Spencer team and OH MY GODDD >________< Nova died EVERY TIME

fully mashed hyper makes the combo break 900k.
EDIT - replacing the last :s: in the combo with :dp::h: makes the combo do 910,900 damage!

This is just Nova Solo, no assists, but assists like Sent and Spencer may be able to extend it.
Very nice stuff. Not exactly new that you can get jump loops off air to airs but the demonstrations you did with xfactor are definitely new to me. Goodddd stuff. This will be super helpful to people that play Nova on anchor !
Yeah nothing really new as this is known, but very very cool nonetheless. Airloops are the easiest way to confirm a j.H that hit really high. Very nice to see the airloops optimized and the x-factor loops. Great work!
Ok this is actually kind of dumb considering how long I’ve mained the Nova/Frank shell for but only now am I realising that DHCing from Nova to Frank AFTER he’s leveled up isn’t all that optimal. Can anyone hook me up with a good DHC combo from Nova to Frank? OTG Centurion Rush to GMB doesn’t really cut it for me since Super Nova deals more damage but I can’t let Super Nova run in its entirety or Survival Techniques won’t hit the opponent. Anyone got any idea for an optimal DHC situation? Thanks!
There really isn’t a viable DHC option from Nova -> Frank besides GMB. But it’s not like GMB is a slouch on damage either, a level 2 (any red health <200k) GMB does more damage than a Supernova anyways, so unless you’re running train on the other guy, you’ll be doing more damage with GMB most of the time.
The version i made with Nova w/ Spencer and Dorm (after uploading this) is similar but even nastier in damage =( lmfaooo. Just after uploading this, I found out I can put down a flame carpet, then do dark hole xx super.
This is a preview of the kinds of nonsense I wanna do with 1 of my soon coming projects “The New Nova Force”. Basically it’s just going to be a video where I pair up Nova with other characters to see what I can do with him.
Can’t really think of a way to DHC to Frank with Supernova then. It doesn’t really play nice with that many other supers. You could be a practice fiend and practice the optimal timing to DHC from Supernova so that they don’t fall out? At worst you’re giving up ~40k in damage, and if you have a level 4+ Frank, I don’t think it’ll be that big of a deal.
I wanna say that while I was playing spidey Frank Nova, I was able to get a L centurion rush xx super Nova for its entirety dhc blue light special, but I believe the first 2 or so hits whiff since they fly up momentarily. I’ll be sure to double check that the next time I get on
