Would you say there are more players in terms of fighting games on XBL than PSN? Like MvC3 and SFIV
I own both as well…I prefer Xbl to PSn for one main reason. SSFHD remix. true you have to pay for xbl… and honestly I received 5 times more hate mail on xbl then PSN in SSFIV… but from gaming experience… XBL is a better connection… XBL is worth it
I’d like to throw my hat in and say yes, live is worth it. IMO it has better connectivity than PSN, if only the netcode for mvc3 wasn’t so fail (both platforms)… =(
Yes, definitely. Much easier to connect, and honestly a better online gaming experience. The money goes towards making sure that the servers are running smoothly, so there is less worry… or just because microsoft is greedy, can never tell.
Yes, definitely worth it- as many have said before, the connections are smoother, and the infrastructure keeps things frustration-free (or at least as good as it realistically gets). It’s just “there”, and you don’t worry about it, which is how it should be, nice and seamless.
Cost-wise, there’s almost always deals on the internet for reduced membership codes, also check your local wholesale clubs (Sam’s, Costco, BJ’s, etc) as they usually have good discounts on giftcards, including Live subscriptions (I picked two 1-year Live cards up last week for $39.99 each).
