My copy arrived the other the day, I haven’t bothered playing about with it much since my arcade stick is due to arrive soon, figured it was better to just start the game with that rather than try compensate for the controller only to have to change in a day XD
Marvel online sucks (It’s somewhat bearable if you’re a beginner) and most of Europe hates the game. (The only places that I know that don’t outright hate it are my country, Portugal, and the UK. France has some great players, but in general the country’s playerbase hasn’t taken a liking to it. Same for Germany I believe)
Also, the game is kinda getting rarer by the minute, so if you do find it, I’d say yes, buy it, if not only as a collector.
With the whole “Marvel is now Disney/ There will never be a mvc4” etc. Is it worth buying and learning this game in 2014? I’ll be playing on xbox360, how’s the scene there?
Cool, I’ve been doing my research and found out that the DLC characters can never be downloaded again?:S Is this true? isn’t there a hardcopy with the dlc characters already in it? Feels like a huge blow if I can’t play/have access to all the characters in the game.
Are those characters strong in the current meta? (Important to know Matchup etc)?
There are only so many Shumas and even less Jills, so you’ll have to scrounge around for matchup experience. That doesn’t really put you in any worse of a position than the rest of us. However if you want to play them or need to access them for training mode, that kinda sucks. Jill’s not hard to combo but Shuma has one of the weirdest hurtboxes and weight classes in the game, so you have to be able to practice comboing him if you don’t want to drop stuff mid-match. Again they’re rare, but I have seen people literally lose matches because they dropped their bnb on Shuma one too many times.
So I have been playing street fighter for about 2 years now and watched a lot of marvel cause it is mostly on before sf and I’ve come to think maybe I should try the game.
So my question is are there any online warriors in Europe and are there new players i can practice my scrub skills against, just by searching for matches, like I would in SF?
