I love the game but I just can’t continue to play it in its current state, but I will give it a try once again when a patch that they are working on gets released until then Ill play other games I have.
i have not played for a while right before the patch with relento glitch waiting tell after to get back into it…i love the chars and the move sets just dont lke the switch cancel typa game it became , but thats just apersona thing with not digging a baby marvelish type of gameplay…i liked it the first eeks hen everyone was playing it like sf2 with 2 chars…
ima use the lame term metagame…that once the pros dugg deep what the game became quick was not much fun when its played the way they put it…Played proper…
I’m totally fine with people who enjoy other games instead of SFxT. It’s all subjective for the most part. And I agree with “If I don’t like it, I don’t play it”.
Yet, having to remind everyone why you personally don’t like or hate the game over and over again doesn’t make a lot of sense in my eyes. Why even bother coming over here?

Heard from some other thread, this game was the 3rd most played game at UFGT8, this game really is played as much as haters pretend it is, plus the patching is at work, meaning it will become closer to a “legit” game
Lol easy way out? I was taking to hard route using Lili x Hugo before taking a break. And if anything was easy, I wouldn’t be using the easy route. You know how bad Lili and Hugo are against Shotos and Kazuya? You are judging your conclusions from inaccurate assumptions. Oh yeah, I’m taking the easy route out by playing better fighting games. Makes huge sense!

And from ur initial statement its implied that you think there is alot of broken sht in this game. The fact that you think that and still have to the audacity to say that you got good amazes me. I can bet 100 bucks ur sht and just like many of the other people, u approached this sht like it was SF4 and because it had mechanics that were different and you weren’t a fan of them u deem the game “shittty” and only worthy of playy by scrubs. With the easy way out, I tried to say that most people now rather leave this game for what it is and don’t give it a fair shot. Has nothing to do with character selection.
I’m not judging you why you dislike this game. I just pointed out the most obvious reasons people gave for not putting effort into SFxT.
Yeah, I do know that Hugo and Lili have a hard time against the top tiers (even play Hugo myself, tried Lili out but not my thing).
Do people never complain about a game? I can hardly imagine a game that doesn’t have a ranting thread. And where the fuck do you see me or any other guy here say this game doesn’t need fixes or adjustments? Do you actually think that most people approve glitches or (broken) assist gems for instance? Fuck no.
But instead of complaining, you have to work around it and have to make it clear that shit has to go. Thing is, those issues have been recycled over and over again and Capcom is aware of bs going on. So what else can we do now? Wait and see what will happen.

I think this game is still moving forward. After all, they are releasing patches. I personally play the pc version and even though right now I can’t find any opponents online because everyone is waiting for the first patch to finally be released, I’m still eager to get on the game every day for a few hours and try out stuff. I’ll drop it if it gets boring, but right now it’s still fun and we should still see support for the game. And the pc community for vanilla SF4 and AE have been around for ages so it’s probably gonna be that way too.

If you want, get yourself online and I’ll play you at SF4, SFxT, and 3S. Unlike you, I’m not afraid of a match. I beat a tourney player who went to our local anime convention recently, an EVO player.
And yeah that’s true, if you have good connection, then you can play almost like it’s offline. Look at you, complaining about me apparently complaining this game, yet you are comlaining about the netcode. Why don’t you suck it up because it’s not even that bad, and you can actually become good online. Oh, are you taking the easy route of losing by saying the netcode sucks?
I get away with the same shit I do online that I do offline at arcades. And I would play a local match, except I don’t money to drive city or states away at the moment. Geez, some of you guys make online seem like a disease.

It’s clear a lot of interest for the game has died down much quicker than anyone expected. I still think this game is fun and once some of the more annoying elements are ironed out and the new characters are released the game will get some more invigoration. But at this moment this game is dying an agonising death, high level play is hard to come by, at least in the UK. Almost every player I’ve come across sporting more than 10,000 BP has had assist gems or used a very jab intensive character, I’m not equating those two things however.
This game needs the DLC to come out soon to generate some interest in it but it’s hard to tell, as said a lot of people are playing this at tournaments, it’s just not bringing in the attention afforded to Marvel and SSF4.
