Gohans match against SSB Goku wasnt about him going toe to toe with him but showing he had what it takes to face an enemy beyond his reach.
He lost the fight and was left unconscious while Goku was chill and relaxed as if he just lifted a feather.
Like with goku vs kale round 1, or his fight with krillin , is not that he needed the ssb to fight them, he was overwhelming them with the diference in power.
The problem is that the writers are not good in conveying what the scenes are about. And the majority of the fanbase takes everything at face value.

He could certainly be the pedo you all say he is, but there isn’t anything proving it. That’s my issue. There is has been mob of people out to bury this dude all year and they got nothing legit. No photos, no videos, nada. I read an article with all sort accusations and photos and that got pulled down because the photos were falsified. There are emails, audio, videos, photos, and legal documents of the things Monica Rial, Chris Sabat, Jamie Marchi, and Ron Toye has done. The only legit thing that is been confirmed is the dude cheated on his ex. Not a good look, especially if you’ve seen what his ex looks like, but a lot of people have done the same.
Funny thing is. The tweet that kicked all this off. Accused him of something another VA did. Dude was also Italian, can’t remember his name, it was Illich something. But he dated Monica and legit got caught with an underage girl.
