If there’s anything that the whole Vic drama can affect - it’s what voice will the DBS Broly (which is still due to be released) will have. Will Funi use another VA? Will he release voiceless in ENG? Will the Vic lines be used, assuming they have been recorded already?
Also that would explain why Dokkan Battle doesn’t have dub voice for the old Broly either

Yeah Japan’s stance on drugs is worse than ours on nudity. One only has to look at the Judgment situation to see that. The Janet Jackson nipple situation was ludicrous but damn drugs in Japan get you permanently black listed.
Sony owns Funimation and while not as successful as the PlayStation brand is to the company it is pretty good. Now add in that Japanese companies prefer dealing with Japanese companies to the mix, Dragon Ball is their most popular property and I don’t see Funimation losing anything. There maybe changes but unless MS, Netflix or Amazon dump a truckload of cash but even then unlikely.
The defamation case is still on and it looks like they’ll be an appeal. Which doesn’t surprise me. They literally have the communications between the Kamecon owner, Monica, and Ron. Where the both of them threatened the the organizer. The only person that there isn’t much evidence against is Marchi.
Seriously this shit isn’t going to go down in a satisfying way whether you believe Vic or don’t. There is literally no reason to get hyped over any of this.
I’m more just fascinated by whole process. In the end I don’t like vic but I don’t care what happens. I’m not crying about the result. I’m just more invested like an episode of law and order
I like you Maxx but I don’t visit ANN. They are the Polygon of anime. From what I hear they buried the voice leak story for nearly a week and tucked mention of it away in article on a separate topic. When mainstream media is covering a story and the supposed hub for anime news is not, it speaks volumes about their objectivity or lack there of.
