Is there a sf3 comic?

just need to know if there is because all i see is street fighter 2 and that’s been done to death

I sure would love to see one. Elena’s HOT.

Theirs a hong kong sf3 comic, never read it but hong kong comics usually have bat shit stories, I would wait till udon get round to that arc, if you want something really good relating to SF3.

I have some of those SF III new generation comics. They are in chinese so I don’t know how to read it. I can upload a couple of pages on the weekend if you want. The drawings are pretty ugly though.

yeah, thanks. i hope udon starts a sf3 comic soon. i’ve been looking for something that explains the characters better but the best thing i found so far is wikipedia.

There’s Masahiko Nakahira’s SF3 Ryu Final manga that’s really good. It’s not in English though.

What would you like to know about the characters pootnannies?

i want to know more about the new characters than anything else, especially oro. he’s my favorite to use in 3rd strike and i’d like to know more about his history since he’s a 140 year old sennin.

Okay. Haven’t gotten to translating SF3 material yet in the story thread (going through Zero series stuff as we speak), but I’ll skim through what I have for Oro and let you know a thing or two. Keep checking back, and in the meantime, check out what Tiamat’s SF Plot Guide has on whoever you like, I’d recommend it over Wikipedia any day.

thanks vasili. i’ll go check out the other thread as well

About Oro:

He’s a Japanese man who moved to Brazil in 1908, 51 years old. 89 years later, at 140, an isolated hermit too powerful for his own good and incredibly bored to boot, he searches for a successor to his style senjutsu. The only person he senses to be worthy is Ryu. Oro finds Ryu and defeats him, then bows out of Gill’s tournament. End of SF3 2I.

In 3S, he comes out of his cave again, attracted by rumors and sensing of a certain mysterious organization (Gill’s) and of Gouki. Whether or not he’s now training Ryu as his ending shows, is up in the air and SF4 if it ever surfaces.

When Capcom was asked in an interview what kind of girl would Oro like, the response was an older senior woman.

So what does that have to do with anything? Maybe foreshadowing another character for SF4? And don’t forget he fought Gouki to a standstill, though it wasn’t serious.

thanks for the feedback vasili

Nothing, just a little-known fact. When Capcom was asked questions about the fighters of SF3 NG, except for Gill if I remember right, among the series of questions they were asked what kind of girl, or guy for Ibuki & Elena, each character would be fond of. All of them I’ll reveal when I get to the SF3 material translations.

You’re welcome pootnannies. Hope that’ll suffice for now.

Back to Zero…

do not read sf3 comic from HK ( chinese/cantonese ) . worse ! could you believe that alex is the renegade son of bison ???!!!

that’s actually one of the most acceptable things. That comic has so many low points it’s just worth reading for its trash feeling, like watching a bad b-movie

some of the “best” stuff in that comic:

  • gouki pissing and shitting in his pants because he got insane from too much power (yeas this actually happens)

  • bison getting ass-raped by gill’s servants

  • bison being evirated by Gill after that

  • sagat offering whores to bison, and bison melting them after they found out.

  • possessed alex raping ibuki

  • dhalsim being oro’s son

  • necro being gill’s son, and Ibuki gill’s daughter

  • ryu actually dies

and others I don’t remember now. it’s so bad it’s a gem

urien got castrated by a whore …
and ran away with from him with lots of gold bars along .

lol i didn’t remember that one

that was the 2nd season…for 2nd impact .

Haha the HK is wacky, but the art style is very precise, detailed (lots of spitty teeth), def the farthest thing from canon.

I remember when the zombie creature from REsident Evil 3, nemesis i think, challenged ken and then ripped out his spine.

Ryu Final does kick some major ass and they even added Ryu’s final attack in a betaversion of a cancelled SF game.
