Zan-kun- there’s some speculation that Freeza was bullshitting about his power level. IIRC it was never recorded on a scouter or anything, it was just him bragging about how awesome he was, to scare people. Not that Azrael’s point is less valid that way, but you get what I’m saying.
well, I already debated that point on the last page and pretty much showed how there is no way of telling who could win. Tien could quite possibly be stronger than Frieza and there are many factors to go with that assumption. his points were somewhat invalid because of not really knowing frieza’s actual final power and the fact that we never know Tien’s power level after he died the first time.
Trunks would have best Frieza regardless. If he didn’t do it, then it would have been Goku like in Trunk’s timeline. Frieza was more powerful as Mecha Frieza as indicated, and he still got beat really bad, suprise attack or not, and Frieza’s best attacks couldn’t even phase Trunks.
is ssj2 gohan stronger than mystic gohan since he was constantly training up to that point non stop and mystic gohan stopped training for i think 2 years or sumtin. he was fit but thats just cause saiyans are freaks.
Yea. Even still. Goku and Vegeta were SSJ2, and more powerful than SSJ2 Teen Gohan, and couldn’t hold a candle to Fat Buu. Super Buu shits on Fat Buu, and got his ass kicked by Gohan.
Gohan’s max potential was realized once the Old Kaio did his thing. That’s why there was no need for a Super Saiyan transformation, after it.
The way I understand it is that Mystic gohan can tap into his power without begin in rage of ssj and ssj gohan lets go and takes the rage in and feeds off it. So ssj gohan I think would be stronger in the long run.

Since Vegeta always going to be (a distant) second to Goku and SSJ3 Goku couldn’t beat Kid Buu without relying on the Spirit Plot Device, it’s easy to see that order: Kid Buu > SSJ3 Goku > SSJ3 Vegeta.

Wait. What? When was this said? I honestly don’t remember either of those things being said, especially since you would kind of expect Mecha Freeza to be weaker than Freeza (or at least not significantly stronger) since the machines just seemed to be keep him together rather than boost his power.
(Also, what “state” are you talking about in reference to King Cold? He seemed a lot weaker than Freeza, especially since he was in presumably the family’s second form.)
Especially funny because it’s true. I mean, seriously, why the hell would you develop THAT type of attack if you’re immortal? It’s just asking for trouble.
In both the manga, and the original Japanese run of the series, Freeza stated he’d become “more powerful” since the cybernetic/mecha work, and the Z-Senshi felt both of their Ki, and recognized Freeza as one of the Ki’s, and said the other Ki (King Cold) with Freeza was “much stronger”.
I don’t know how much stronger the both of them were, in comparison to Final Form Freeza. It could be like, 10 more on the Scouter chart, so nothing to really ponder over.
Also, I was referring to Freeza’s current state, as in the 100 Million Dollar Man, I mean Alien. They could rebuild him. They had the technology!
While that just makes me think how much more plot-holy that part of DBZ’s (Trunk’s introduction) is, I can’t go against what’s in the manga. (Otherwise, I wouldn’t be even humoring this talk of Cell and Buu and would be like “Who?”)
Speaking of which, I’m going to try and read through it over the coming month. Between reading that and Bleach and One Piece in their entirety, it should be interesting; maybe I should read Dragonball too despite having seen that in most of its entirety in anime form.

Yeah, it has a lot of wtf moments, but if I could bare to read both Naruto and Dominic Deegan for years on end before just giving up on them totally, I don’t really see how Bleach could get bad enough to point where I would quit reading it entirely.

As far as the others, I’m wary of anything that happens in the afterlife since it maybe just be filler. I do remember what you’re talking about from the anime now, very vaguely, but that has the additional “problem” of being a dub/translation.
