Meh. Those two piss themselves over everything. All the Z-Fighters do.
Yamcha especially, since he’s Mr. “I get killed by the weakest villian possible”. I mean, even after that 100x+ Kaio-training, that fool still got beasted by Dr. Gero.
Dr. Gero.
I’m somewhat surprised that Yamcha didn’t die to Babadi.
Uno Ha, na? EDIT: Oh, so you were talking to Shade. Er…half-disregard my post then.
Manga > Japanese TV Series > Uncut FuNi dub. I read the manga in it’s entirety several times, and seen the Japanese run completely (at least once). With that said, Tien, Yamcha, and Choatzu being with king Kai wasn’t filler, but them fighting the Ginyu Force was.
Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin were alive and well after Freeza initially transformed. It was Final Form Freeza that ended Krillin’s life, and mortally wounded Piccolo. Also, once Vegeta was resurrected, he saw Freeza and even tried to attack him before being teleported to Earth (TV Series only, as that didn’t happen in the manga).
And a note, in Dragon Ball, ones Ki is almost like a signature. Each one feels unique. So theoretically, even if they only felt Freeza’s Ki in his first form, the fourth one would feel similar enough to be identified.
You may be right. I’ll skim through the manga real quick, and verify it. However, they were watching the battle somewhat, just not first hand.
Oh, I know that. I was more trying to suggest that they might not have felt his ki at full power, though you’re correct about Piccolo and Krillin getting owned by Freeza well after he was in his final form.
So that makes three people, which is enough for me.
Remember when Piccolo was the most powerful character among the heroes, for like, a minute in the Cell Saga? His fight with 17 was dope. I like the manga version, but I gotta give props to the anime version. Stuff was awesome!
His entrance vs Freeza was one of my favorite moments in DBZ. Freeza was just beasting on everyone, literally because he’d just grown horns and gored Krillin IIRC. Then Piccolo comes in and they had that epic music in the background (I’ve only seen the Japanese versions of a lot of eps), and it’s just so pimpy, so hardcore.
I’m going to avoid any kind of DBZ debate because…those never end.
alot of people just need to accept that DBZ is poorly written and explained in alot of areas. No, I’m not a hater, I’m just being real. DBZ makes no fucking sense. I think they really messed up by introducing the scouters and started putting fighting ability in how much energy the characters generate and not how much skill they have.
But fond memories I guess.
Cell is still the greatest mofo ever. That nigga just wanted a fight. His design was really stupid, but I liked his persona.
I never realized that his eyebrows were actually behind his hair. This is extremely considering the current manga/anime trend, large part of popularity coming from DBZ, of eyebrows being “over” hair for whatever (inane) reason.
No problems there mate, but…
DBZ stopped making sense once the fans wanted Toriyama to continue the series after the Freeza arc. The series could’ve been handled better after the Freeza arc, but we got what we got.
Y’know what, I’ve had a change of heart. Sure, Tien can keep up with, or even beat Freeza. I mean, he pushed back Cell! Cell, who was like a billion times stronger than Freeza! That’s all the proof I need.
But…hey…I just thought of something. Perfect Cell backhanded Mr. Satan, and Mr. Satan LIVED and didn’t suffer any major injuries. You know that if that had been Freeza, he would have disintegrated into baby powder. OMG, Mr. Satan’s power levels are in the MILLIONS!
And while I’m thinking about it…Chi Chi SLAPPED Super Buu, and it actually made him turn his head! If that had been Freeza, not only would Buu not have turned his head, but Freeza would have broken his hand in several different places. OMG, Chi Chi’s power level is in the billions!*
Spoiler
This one I actually sort of believe, considering how hard she owned Goku, I figure Chi Chi’s power level is Goku’s x10.
